March 8, 2016: Fixed WindowPosition patch. Fixed WindowPosition patch crashing in game windows such as Guild Page and Web Shop.

Abyss is crashing on the first loading screen (right after pressing "game start" before the login). The client is clean, the abyss is the most recent and no other mods are installed

[03/11/16 00:20:33] - Abyss: No CleanUp patch failed: search (1)No crashes though.  If you rush Abyss loading, especially data folder enabled stuff it will have issues.  I've seen this occur on my laptop all the time, but my desktop is fine.
Make sure you have the latest dlls and packs via PowerPatcher.  You'll need these to be the latest anyways for reliable client use.  Nexon Launcher does NOT do this and it's best if you avoid it entirely if possible.  The launcher reverts files after you manually put the latest there, use a shortcut with admin rights, MabilLauncher Plus, or Mabi Direct Launch to launch the client.  See the respective threads on each of these and guides if needed.  If you're going to mod, then you need to be willing to know the basics.  Best of luck.

So I installed Abyss for Mabi @ 3/17/2016 and when I started up my Mabi it just closes the game. Could anyone help me out with this problem?

If you're using data folder mods this is one possibility.  Also outdated packs, seeing that there was an update today.  Usually it won't even let you that far if it's outdated packs.  Please use PowerPatcher to fix this, if this is the case.  Abyss still works and no fails as of this writing.  I'm logged in as of this moment.

*facepalm* that explains so much. Air has been going crazy thinking his internet connection was awry... Air should launch from the launcher more often.

For those that aren't aware: launching the client manually without the launcher results in skipping the update and the server won't be reachable if your version doesn't match the server version.

That's one way of doing things, but perhaps not the most reliable way  (you'd think it would be as it's Nexon's own creation).  However, the more experienced modders know that to avoid the Nexon Launcher entirely and user PowerPatcher instead.  There are reasons for this--for one being that the Nexon Launcher reverts files that PowerPatcher gets when it updates.  You can verify this yourself if you wish, but as of this writing this is where it stands.  This may change in the future though.  There are many of PCs that I've worked on that have used Nexon Launcher and had nothing but problems while using it, but once I showed them how to use the PowerPatcher... the problems went away.  This was because Nexon Launcher was forcing them to use older dlls and the exes.  Instead, they update with PowerPatcher, and run the client directly.  Please see the threads on these things.

Does anyone else have an issue with multi-client? I can only open multiple clients through the official launcher, but it stops letting me after one client is open.

There's anti-multi-client in both the launcher and the main game.  Abyss patches it in the main game, so you'll need to use something other than the official launcher.  You can make your own shortcut to run the game directly.  Make a shortcut to client.exe and go to the properties, so the target looks like this.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do much good for me. I assume this would be similar to the mabidirectlaunch that blade also has linked, but nothing comes up after executing. Maybe I should try a full re-installation. It makes me wonder what caused Abyss to become so strange though as it worked just recently...

Well I crashed a TON in the past 2 hours. First just walking in dunby, then I was in dunby bank depositing stuff, then as logging back in I crashed before I even fully loaded. And a few minutes after that I crashed at the housing board, but the most recent one I was just in my homestead with some people and crashed out of nowhere again.

There SHOULD have been info in the logs, which is what I wanted along with what was happening. I say should because I'm unsure if it would have worked correctly since I've never really crashed from anything.

Try adding client.exe to the DEP exception list in Windows.

I'm running Mabinogi on Windows 10 utilizing Bootcamp on my Mac Pro. Game runs great without Abyss installed but that's as far as I get. I've tried with and without the data folder packed in and made sure it was all up to date. Also if it's worth noting I'm launching the game with NX Launcher.

Get rid of that launcher. It's bad.
Don't know if it's the cause of your problem or not... But that thing causes a bunch of it's own problems, definitely get rid of that junk.

Just checking in, is the hackshield no longer included in the zip? I just downloaded for the first time since i upgraded to win10, cause when it was first released it didn't work on win10, and I noticed only the ini, DLL, and DAT file are in the zip, but not the normal hsupdate or hslaunch

Hackshield shut down, so Crackshield is no longer necessary.

There are some glitches when I do Saga episode ( I did Episode 10)
after macha boss,
the cutscene skip works, but after that my mouse seems to click and move my character, but am unable to press buttons or move things in my inventory. I can't press log out button as well.

PS: How do type in Korean? It comes out as (?) I'm gonna read through the post again, but if you can help pls do

I'm not sure on what else is needed for alternative languages, but the font you're using needs to actually have those glyphs.  I don't know if the bitmap font does.
