Alright double-post but a bug report.  When extrathreads is enabled and you're launching the client with/through Morrighan, the title screen will not finish loading.

That's the setup I've been using since forever and it has worked fine.
Morrighan doesn't even do anything to the client other than launch it with different parameters.

Right after NA stopped encrypting packets, since that would be required for connecting at all, so 1.5.7.
ExtraThreads = 1, considering how you believe that to be the problem.
That's a crap ton of other settings to list if you want the entire INI.
And whatever the defaults are for launching Morrighan on NA server.

Also, not the latest version of abyss. The one before it.

Edit: Updated Morrighan and Abyss. ExtraThreads = 1. Loads without an issue.
That stupid window position still needs to be fixed, though.

Can confirm what Rydian says here, using the following setup causes the game to hang up on boot.

• Morrighan v1.5.9
• MorriOneClick v1.0.0
• Abyss Patcher for R219 (Latest)

The crash is specific to the ExtraThreads option, if set to 0 (Disabled) the game runs perfectly fine, and so does Morrighan.
I'd normally point at both to look for answers but seeing as only Abyss has had major changes in recent patches, its very likely that the cause is Abyss's ExtraThreads patch.

Edited the first post. Forgot to do so after that happened, so thanks for reminding me.

Instructions:

• Make sure you have run the Client clean (without mods) for any updates to HackShield or NexonGuard/BlackCipher.
• Extract the files from Abyss.rar and place them in your Mabinogi folder.

Tried a fresh install of mabi and abyss and still get a lot of very frequent and very random crashes, it's killing me on the inside. I love abyss purely for the font change and some of the other useful things but good lord I just can't catch a break.

My computer isn't all that great (not terrible at all for being an inexpensive laptop) but crashing 20 times a day (minimum) is a bit absurd.

I can't seem to isolate the problem other than Abyss, I uninstalled that and I'm not having any issues as of right now. Playing music, going to Gator, doing pretty much ANYTHING would crash me at random times, and then login crashes would happen stupidly frequently afterwards. Without Abyss as of right now completely uninstalled from my mabi, I'm having no issues, but I hate the font so much.

I honestly don't know where I could possibly find the isolated issue other than Abyss. I updated Crackshield, and like I said I did a fresh Abyss and Mabi install yesterday and have crashed more than 20 times since the DDI update.

Please try turning off cutscenes, and checking your datafolder (if you have one) for these as well.  Abyss with the cutscenes flag off and a datafolder with them will work fine.  The newer game security is the culprit here from what I've seen so far (in part).  Let us know.
