The middle button on my mouse in screenshot mode still works on abyss so I'm really not sure what can be causing it.

Seems it's probably Disable Alt+Enter. Disabled it in-game and screenshot mode started working properly.

Because it gives you the ability to fix the camera so you can get some pretty nice shots without characters in the way. And with the new panning feature, even better.

You can greatly enhance your viewpoint of things on the field if used properly. I don't really care for it much, but I'm pretty sure there's a quite a bit of things you can do with the fixed camera + ability to zoom with the zoom mod. I assume my friend uses it during raids to get a view point of the battlefield? idk, sounds like a hassle for me. I just wanted to bring it up since it was "broken" in the sense that the camera shouldn't follow the player after activating it.

yes, the Alt+Enter is messing up Screenshot mode. I can confirm this after messing around with all of the abyss settings.

I can backup Drake's claim. I enabled DisableAltEnter, and it does interfere with Screenshot Mode. With it enabled, the camera will NOT lock in place, and right-click just rotates as normal, instead of panning around.

My game crash or not responding when I minimized the game with 2 or more accounts. This has been happening since the last 2 patches. I haven't seen anyone talk about this or maybe I haven't lurk enough. Is there a fix for this?

Disabling CPU reduction mod seems to fix it, but it is such an useful and sometimes necessary mod. Anyone happen to stumble upon a way around the minimize crash without disabling CPU reduction mod?

You either get cpu reduction or you get no crashes. You can't have both, considering that's the reason for it.

What's the reduction on?  When minimized the client won't display some things (system messages are queued until the client is up for one) and it may work better with a less harsh reduction.

...I don't know who edited DisableAltEnter but looking at it that person is just...bad.
I found a fix for it and gave the information to blade on how to correctly disable without messing up with the camera.
Now we just have to wait for blade to be #notlazy

Unrelated question..

I noticed "place items in hotkeys" was a thing.. So i really wanted to ask about the possibility of equipping an item from your inventory by pressing a hotkey. It would open up a lot of interesting gameplay options. For me at least :v

I've been trying to get abyss to work for days with no success, the client just crashes at the start before even the nexon game guard thing shows up...  I added the dll to the exceptions but that didn't help.

I tried abyss on its own, with frontend, but it does the same thing.   If I remove abyss, mabinogi runs fine. 

Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

If you wait long enough if the process is hanging then there should be an entry in the log telling you to do the same thing. If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what's wrong.

useless and buggy

use fps limit tools like dxtory is way huge better
1fps 24hrs no freeze no disconnect

You can both try that. If the process is hanging and that's what you get in your log, you're probably hanging from timing out. If you wait long enough if the process is hanging then there should be an entry in the log telling you to do the same thing. If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what's wrong.

client.exe appeared for about half second in taskmgr , then disappeared and nothing goes on
guess it not a hanging?
i can start the game without abyss
 
it worked when i set ExtraThreads=0
i dont think its a os problem cause my other dll mod can works with this function normally

For the client vanishing, you may need to set DEP to off for it in the Windows settings.

For a frame limiter without a third-party program running all the time... If you're using an Nvidia card you can make a profile for Mabinogi (client.exe) in the Nvidia Control Panel.  Then use Nvidia Inspector and click the tools button on the right to open the program profiles.  In there you can pull up the Mabinogi entry and give it a frame limit (as well as other settings that don't show up in the normal control panel).

Unfortunately while I was using an ATI card I couldn't find anything like it that actually worked.

Alright double-post but a bug report.  When extrathreads is enabled and you're launching the client with/through Morrighan, the title screen will not finish loading.
