I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Your two quotes contradict each other.

They don't contradict each other because they don't have anything to do with each other. One quote is informing that KR also had Crashes happening due to the things stated (mailbox crashing etc) and i simply said that it was happening on lower specs computers even in KR.

The other is informing you that you're saying the Locking of the Camera in Screenshot mode doesn't even work on Unmodded Clients is Wrong. Works fine on unmodded Mabi as you can clearly see since i even included a picture of it working ;3

In case you don't realize, i'm the one on the left side with the Belisha Puppet.

Come to think of it, the screenshot mode broke after Partner zoom disable was implemented. This was quite some time ago. Maybe it's related to that. I do remember bringing that up. Screenshot mode has its perks, being able to get a better view in some instances, but I never really use as often as my friend does. I'm not sure how practical it is though, since right click slides the angle everywhere at high speeds and rotation is moved to middle click...

I can confirm that Screenshot Mode is working for me, as well. I'm using Abyss, and I have NoPartnerZoom enabled, too. I'm on Windows 10, if that makes a difference.

I wasn't having any problems with Abyss and any mods until today. No modification was done since the last time i played the game ( which was yesterday) so this problem just appeared suddenly. I already reinstalled Abyss many times with my current mods ( tiara ) and without any mods, but still, the problem doesn't go away.

The answer is not only in my FAQ in my opening post, but I answered it not very long ago at all as well. You should look for answers before asking questions. It saves everyone the annoyance of having to answer the same questions over and over again. If you already tried the suggested method, you should mention that you have done so.

I'm guessing you got your abyss from some crappy mod pack.

The others are explained in the default Abyss.ini, but No Cleanup makes Mabi finish crashing faster when it crashes.

I got the abyss patch from the first page of this forum haha. I just don't know what some of them do. Like that "money string" for example

I'm on windows 7. My friend is on 7 as well. Not sure what's causing to break for me and her.

One of my friends says screenshot mode is still broken with this abyss update, and it still is. Camera doesn't lock into place as it should.

There's nothing wrong, Nexon seems to have changed the controls for the Screenshot Mode without telling anyone. I remember thinking this was a bug a few months ago. The new way to rotate the camera around is to use the middle mouse button/wheel.

The middle mouse button/wheel was always a way to rotate the camera. But nothing moves the actual camera.

To be fair half the mod is broken and the other half is being hidden from the public so i don't really understand why you're incapable of answering simple questions even if the answers are there. Maybe somebody is tired, stressed (first time users setting up this mod will have a headache before even starting up the game) - I'm not sure you can really blame them for skimming through some of the information. They actually want to play the game rather than spend more time modding a half-functional legacy mod that's being kept alive by , i assume, your work exclusively. At least the part thats being kept available to to the public. - That being said i'm not sure why you don't just remove the ability to abuse Abyss from the public releases anyways. Would it really be so difficult to remove the load dll line by default?

Regardless, i respect you for sticking with the community as long as you have- just my input and ill be on my way enjoying the game as its meant to be. Thanks for the continued work to keep my game experience fun and less annoying.

on a side note im banned from this site for reasons i don't understand as im an inactive user, but im still capable of logging in via browser proxy & other device. I think a security trigger on the site banned my main desktop / ip / mac honestly idk what it is. But it's kind of annoying and i've posted this elsewhere. Most the discussions with people who know what theyre talking about are usually here so i thought i'd drop that off too.

If somebody reading this has any way of fixing this issue for me with the website it'd be highly appreciated. Finding a browser proxy or grabbing my tablet every time i want to check for updates or post isn't fun.

The only patch that is broken is ItemDetail, because it requires something like 15+ patterns and I can't do live debugging on this computer (Windows 8.1), unlike my old computer (Windows 7). This was broken from the compiler update, so the patterns are severely different. I gave the question that the quote was replying to an answer that would let the person know where to find the information they were looking for, instead of just having people post multiple replies for every patch they were curious about. I said they could ask more questions if the explanations weren't enough, so what is your problem exactly? What part of this isn't available to the public anyway? There's only one version of this. I have no care for any mods other than what's in here, especially since I don't even play anymore. What's wrong with the LoadDLL line anyway? I'm pretty sure plenty of people use this along with mod_sharker. It also lets people make their own dll's and inject them for their own mods and share them. Something mod_sharker expanded upon but streamlined the process and made it extremely simple for anyone who knows how to make mods.

But if you're truly no longer interested in the game, maybe it's time to pass it on to somebody you trust? I was under the impression abyss was the successor of jinsunogi- that was modded by iseuok to be compatible with pake and all that and easily distributable to his guild.. but darn that was like .. 6 years ago? I don't think i can trust my memory on that one. haha

Nah, there's a certain mod in Abyss that breaks screenshot mode. That middle click crap didn't work at all.

Don't know which one specifically, but after disabling all mods (set = 0) in abyss, it worked. Too busy to isolate it.
