I've always had party window mod on whenever I had abyss and I've never been banned for it. Don't know how true the rumors are, guess some guy was just super unlucky

It sounded like it was a group of people.

And honestly, you don't really need the infinite party mod.  Open a party, leave it open and change channels, after you've loaded the new channel leave it closed and change back to the original channel, and now if you leave it closed you'll advertise indefinitely in the party chat channel.  Ie, start in ch 1 with open, switch to ch 2 and leave it closed, then switch back to ch 1 and leave it closed.

Only way i could see people being banned for this mod though, is if they afk'd right in the middle of dunby or some other populated region, cuz otherwise the mods would have to have some method to differentiate people using the bug over using the mod, and i don't see them designing something like that for a mod like this, when a bug already exists to take advantage of party advertising.

Mabi doesn't use VAC so you can't get a VAC ban for anything in mabi, just bans from Nexon.

I've never had the scooter issues, and I continued to use Crackshield the whole time that Abyss wasn't updated yet so I could patch some basic stuff (zoom and cam stuff) manually and read RAM and junk.  I did start getting the scooter issue with Abyss though.  Windows 7 here.

Friend of mine is still using Crackshield without the Abyss and doing quite fine without the fps drop on the Scooter. So Abyss is likely affecting the fps but I tried removing all toggle mods I had and it's still there. Removing Abyss runs it all normal again. Friend is running Wins 7 and I'm running Windows 8.1.

Or they blacklisted it.  I figured out how to do that one after someone explained to me you could blacklist system messages and skill messages.

All you have to do for that is go into Options>Game>Chat, select party channel, and uncheck "Show From Default Channel", and they won't show anymore

Think that disables party chat too, if you uncheck the box?  Don't remember, haven't messed with that for anything but trade channel in years.
I know you can blacklist something like <SYSTEM> to prevent xp and crap popping up in chat, but it still actually leaves things like system announcements.

That's also Options â–º Game â–º Chat. There's a "Blacklist Setting" there. You type in what you want to block, and it won't show up in chat history. I've blocked <SKILL> and <COMBAT> with it.

Would it be possible to enable using the shadow mission board from a distance? I remember in my old mods from G12 I was able to stand on the tara altar and pick a mission without having to walk over, is that even possible now? It would be WONDERFUL!

I think it's more a case of people not actually paying attention than blacklisting certain things.  There's been many times I'd see someone buying something for the same price as someone selling, but the seller doesn't sell it to the buyer buying it for that price because they just weren't watching the chat, or vice versa.  When I note them about it, they're always like oh, thanks for telling me etc.

Disable ExtraThreads.
This has been a long time glitch ever since the creation of abyss. Even changing the codepage on ExtraThreads did not help

The standard mabinogi launcher won't work.

Make a shortcut to client.exe and right-click it, go to the properties.  At the end of "target", add a space and then this.

Heya, you might want to put this in your "update log" I noticed the time on this and figure you probably were tired and forgot to do so.  So when I downloaded it I noticed that dinput8.dll and ijl15.dll were updated when I compared.  (Had to make sure there. lol)
