You just open up the abyss.ini (with notepad) where ever you downloaded it and find the bundle=1 and change the 1 to a 0 [zero]. After that save the ini and it should be good. :3

after turning that off and all other item related ones..... I still can't buy items from npcs without crashing or the risk of crashing if I'm lucky enough to buy it......

It may be a setting in abyss, but unlikely to be a problem directly with abyss that can't be fixed by disabling a specific feature within abyss.ini.  Downloaded the most recent abyss earlier, set the options as i wanted them except for the item section, set them all to 0, and played the game.  Scrolled over multiple items in my inventory without issue, even bought a shuriken from an NPC to train shuriken mastery with, and didn't crash.

Can try playing with settings.  Disable various/all features and see if you still have crashes.  Check the logs when you do crash.  Just skim for things like errors, failures, or something along that line as an indication of what might be the issue.  If you can't figure it out post the details of what led up to the crash and the log (in a code box) here and someone will probably help.

Whenever a notification window would come up, such as storing items that cannot be stored on a pet, or setting up shop,  it stops responding.

Can anyone multi-client...? im having trouble trying to do that... I mean I have abyss working and the multi client is = 1 then I start up mabi normally via local drive. I right click the mabi logo of the game that's currently up and click on another client to load but it will not load. someone help me please?

I had a problem with it at first as well.. What I did was get one game running and when it gets to the login screen "pin" it to the task bar (if you're in win7) try right clicking it and launching another client from there. If that doesnt work try right clicking the mabi thats pinned and open the properties of it. theres a thing that says "target" with the file location there. Put a space after where the target location is and then paste the following thing. this may be alexina specific or whatever specific but it worked copying it off of what my friend sent me in skype.

if anyone wants to explain why this works, i'm all ears btw.

ps another thing is trying to launch if from the folder the game is downloaded to and after pushing the bug button on the launcher try to start up another from the folder really quick.

I was multiclienting before when tiara was working and all I had to do is just start mabi normally in the folder then once game is up I just had to right click the emblem from my game and just start up a new client... but it is not working for some reason...

Thank you for this. I was trying to withdraw funds from my house, and would freeze/hang then lock up. Then I'd have to manually close Mabinogi through the Task Mgr. I'm using Windows 7.  I did a fresh reinstall of Mabinogi, then reinstalled Abyss 197 (released 11/5/2014).  I did all of this, because I was trying to rule that out of corrupted packs, etc.  So, this was a fresh install of both to verify the cause, I then proceeded to replicate the issue. With Abyss the issue still existed, without Abyss the issue was gone of course. Then, I tried it with that setting off. The problems were gone.  As a suggestion for anything that's new that needs more extensive testing.... We may want to introduce a BETA section within the Abyss.ini file for things that haven't been in use for an extended period of time. As settings/patches are matured (set period of time), and enough data/info has been collected it can be migrated out.  This will allow uses to troubleshoot a lot quicker, by disabling things as needed.

Log saying, all succesfull, except last 3 lines says, now I'm not familiar with changing DNS and never had to before, should I ? :

Try to disable reading from data folder in Abyss.ini:

This also includes trying to NPC sell non-tradable things such as the SE pots, or when unequip a bag and you get the warning saying everything in it will be dropped. I forgot that was included when I almost tried to NPC an SE potion to my maid. I guess you guys could think of any other weird messages we get in-game, because the SM VIP code probably interferes with any number of them. :c

Nvm, fixed, the suggestions the log said worked for me.
