I just tried to reinstall Abyss since it's update to a clean updated client but the moment I click on the start button hackshield kicks me. I'm doing everything like I've normally done when using Abyss previously and the download I got was from Shaggy's mirror since the main link has reached its limit. Not sure what's causing the problem. I have win7 64bit.

I use Win7 x64. Sounds like dinput8 isn't being called by the Client to hook HackShield. What error?

Sorry >.< This will probably be even more less helpful. I don't get an error code. This pops up just a couple seconds after I click start on the client and the window poofs away to start loading the game screen.

If you don't close that window, the game should run just fine with that in the background. It seems it appears sometimes and not other times...

Wow! o.o You're right! If I ignore that pop up window and leave it in the background I was able to continue without the client closing and Abyss is working fine.

Sorry nothing else. At first I thought perhaps it could be a setting I turned on with the .ini file but when I deleted all the files for Abyss and then re-add it I got the same error. When the files were not in the folder the client had no error pop ups. Idk why it's acting strange but at least it seems to be working ok as long as I leave that error window alone.

Does Abyss_patchlog.txt say anything? Sounds like you're logging into two different accounts and one is blacklisted.

So sometimes an error occurs and sometimes it doesn't.. Thanks for the info. Nothing in my code really should be causing an error though so I'm not sure what's going on..

Felt like i should report back, i got abyss working last night.

Downloaded again off a mirror site, added the .dlls that came with abyss to the .ini, and it's working as expected now.

It may have been i missed a file or something in my original attempt or somehow deleted it, i can't honestly if it was abyss, my computer, or just a screw up from me.

could you fix the bitmap font offset? like how its raised up? i know its like that now because fonts that support korean are usually alot lower down image wise, so nexon raised the font height..
