Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Ah, yes, my mistake. I apologize. I thought renaming to .dat is just for backup, so I renamed it ijl15.dll.backup.
It works now, thanks :D

Weird, I thought abyss came with an ijl15.dat?
I just leave that as it is and rename my original to ijl15.dllx
Because when I had windows XP,  turning .dat to .dll was not a sufficient enough back-up with  removing abyss.
It probably works now that I have windows 7, and/or because it's been ages since I even tried. Might have just been a one-time dealy for all I know.
I'll think of something to put here later. Probably. (No, I'll forget, but, y'know, whatever. 'S still a good placeholder.)

I am using mabinogi off steam and when I open my mabinogi folder all that is inside it is.
BlackCipher folder
HShield folder
ngmsetup exe
vacache.dat file

so I put all the abyss files inside here??

Okay, so I have a slight suggestion, moving the FPS counter. It's nice to have and I would probably use it more if it didn't intrude on the skill icons. Any way you could possibly move that over or to another corner? I think a lot of people would really appreciate that, including me

I'm pretty sure the FPS counter is a native engine thing that the mod simply turns on, instead of a totally custom added-on thing.

Yes, it is. Though that doesn't mean that it's impossible to move, I have no real intention to look into it.

that was also mentioned as an alternative in the times people wanted the fps moved before, but fraps isn't built in and isn't as convenient, ie you have to run the program and have a good enough pc too run both programs without lagging you to hell.

It isn't really simple to find. You can follow from where it's enabled, and hope to find where it's drawn, but that's the best you can do. It can be complicated to reverse engineer graphical things.

Though, I am concerned with the time it takes, not the difficulty.

Good freaking luck trying to get past the 128 bit however, limit is PUSH 7F, after 80 it becomes a 5 byte OP, and you cannot go over PUSH -80, as the game will disposition it.

You're screwed.

Mine does the exact same thing and extra threads = 0 doesn't work either

I don't really know if this makes sense, but I launched the client without HSLaunch and it loaded. The moment I loaded ESVcH (HSLaunch) The client crashed out on me. Don't really know if this helps or not.

I'm pretty much having the same problem as everybody else. Client won't start up, even if data folder and extra threads are 0. Running UO Tiara alone works though.

ran the game once normally.

put in abyss and sadly it won't work.

as far as it gets with default setting, extra thread 0

even tried with everything off just for the heck of it and nothing as well.

Probably. If the search is general enough, a change in the client might make it find something else instead of fail, and that might make it crash.

Of course, you can check the sharker log to see where it's crashing.

My Client.exe would start up and then go kaput.  But I did the extrathreads=0 thing and it works for me.  Thanks!
