Fl0rn you have to set that "Window Position=0" to "Window Position=1" for it to work ok (and on a side note set WPX to 0 or it'll look ugly)

So, ever since they did that server restart when the people were crashing others with the doki doki glitch, I have been getting the error "cannot find 'ijl15.dll' please re-install" Well, I have done a clean re-install of mabi, tiara and abyss and I still get that error. Someone on here a while back said to download abyss and extract all the files to it but that does nothing. I still get the same error. What do I do?

Im getting that same error also but i used the most recent client from the mabinogi site since i didnt want to spend like 4 hours updating.

We probably need the old ijl15.dll file from old Abyss probably R170-R180 and NOT 181, then it could work... but who here has still working mods with working cp scouter? Could possibly send us the old dll then.

Um, abyss files currently work fine.

Played today with abyss, for like 5 hours or more.

Crashed warping to karu flying event.  Removed data mods, crashed trying to log in.  Removed abyss and replaced the modded ijl with the ijl.dat in abyss files, worked fine.  Played till i finished all the flying events and switched back to all my mods. 

Not saying the problem was abyss, but i'm certain that ijl in abyss is clean, since i ran mod-less, including HShield being off, and i've been playing with mods pretty much all day.  Might be minor issues here and there, but if you can't log in period, that's not abyss' fault, it's yours.

That would be incorrect. Just bcuz yer not having the issue doesn't mean it's not an issue. I can log into mabi just fine WITHOUT the mods, and was able to when I had the older version like Pr0boszcz suggested. I am pretty sure the new ijl15.dll doesnt work, of course you can use the clean one to run mabi, but then the whole abyss doesnt work at all so its like playing without mods, therefore I'm requesting an older ijl15.dll from R180 or lower abyss if anyone still has.

So what you are trying to say is that VC++ 2013 will fix missing ijl15.dll?

Edit: Okay, sorry for the confusion, seems like I was missing some dlls from VC++ 2013 even though I had it. Reinstalling that fixed the missing ijl15.dll

EDIT: I installed it earlier and it did nothing. I did it just now and still nothing. Tried either version just incase. Glad you got it Pr0boszcz. I'm still having the issue .

Hmm, thats odd I just removed mods with DATA Packer, then uninstalled Tiara,  added the VC++2013 DLLs, though I installed both x86 and x64 versions, then installed fresh Tiara again... added mods with DATA Packer and it kinda works. Oh also added the msvcp120.dll to mabi folder manually and the system32 folder in Windows.

Typed most of this before the post i quoted was edited, some of it may be covered so you can disregard that.  Was playing mabi while typing.

Given the number of people who come in here about their mods being 'broke,' when it's simply they didn't read the first post and follow instructions, then it's logical to assume you did the same when you posted and didn't list specs, what troubleshooting you have done, or any other mod related notes.

Now, to be useful; Clear temp files, clear mabi's cache, and try without data mods, (meaning using abyss) were you crashing on just log-in or after selecting a char?  If you can select a char BEFORE you crash, then try using alts if they're in different locations, to make sure it's not the region crashing you.  Like i said, i crashed with karu and eventually got it up and going after disabling abyss for a bit, but it could be coincidence.

If you're crashing at different times/places, look for log files.  They might be able to help narrow down the problem, which includes abyss logs.  You want help?  Make sure to help yourself before lashing out, most of these are common trouble-shooting questions, they shouldn't be asked/requested.


I think msvcp, that related program or w/e, i had issues with and it was the one i had to completely uninstall then re-install it.

Erm though I have VC++ 2005,2008,2010,2012,2013 in total alltogether installed both x86 and x64 versions + .Net Frameworks 3,5 and 4,0. And all on a Win7 x64 Ult. (Assuming he doesnt)

it can, their is an update for windows 8 that is also required and mentioned on the first post.

Just a note, .NET is up to 4.5.1 now, not 4.0 (though it's still in the same branch so that shouldn't be an issue).

Also if you get an issue about a missing DLL, don't download that individual one and stick it in the program's folder.  That does work, but only for that specific case, and only for that program (anything else using those libraries will need their own copies).  Find which library the DLL is from and install that, which goes in a system drive and thus solves it for all programs at once.
(I know some of this was stated and the first post has the links to the full libraries, I'm just pointing out why some people are getting piecemeal results.)

With the current event I'm mainly just afk fishing and most other games that I play Mabinogi detects crackshield and closes.
