this is common with 0 or negative zoom with patchers and devcats coding, if you zoom in or out it will become black by your character or out of range by the scene itself; so nothing new here.

I have a question. Skill stacking. is it broken by nexon or is it something i have an issue client sided via abyss or db/xml/txt file? range does not reload after using it once an arrow is shot. I have to click like a mad man to load range again.

Ranged Attack begins aiming after the skill is loaded. There's no "reload" to speak of. You need to wait a little bit before another skill can be loaded, i.e. there's a wait time using ranged attack and loading it again. It's not automatic either. Skills are never automatic save for reload, control marionette, and some life skills.

If you do not prefer clicking however, another method would be using the action key. I use that a lot since my mouse clicks are too loud.

im not sure you understand what i mean. the skill would stack.. meaning once the arrow is shot skill would load once more after it has already been used. its in the options in game but does not work anymore for some reason. it says single use multiple use and automatic.

Again, I'll reexplain. Reserved attack doesn't do anything for you. It just queues clicks so that you'll keep attacking if you spam the mouse before hand. The wait time behind loading skills is still present.

hmm ok thanks i did notice it does work just the load time que's in is slower now. where as before i would release the arrow 0.005 of a second and it would load again. now it takes 0.25~0.50 depending on server lag or mine. or just maybe poo internet on my side so packets sent from my client are not read as fast as they used to. i switched to a different net provider.

That's probably your problem then. Are you using the latency reducer in Abyss?

I just want Abyss so I can do dungeons again without disconnecting during the boss cutscene but I seriously can't figure out where to put what. x.x

... I didn't realize more than one file unzipped. I just put abyss.ini in and tried it. x.x Thanks for dealing with my stupidity.

so... ive looked through the posts... and the most recent version of hackshield im seeing a link to was back in october before the second password was busted, and a few other things, can someone please post a link to the new version or a list of hooks that actually still work?(not just which ones abyss SAYS are successful, but also ones that dont cause hackshield errors if you try to use them)

crackshield has nothing to do with abyss in functionality, so it doesn't need updated as often and abyss hasn't needed updated recently either; so you have the latest (if your downloading it from the first post)

It is my understanding that if the abyss patch log says it didnt work it doesnt try to use it, as such when i patched and using the max stack size amount item hook, or the quality hook causes a hackshield error, that means its broken in a different way.

thats easy, people who are used to typing using muscle memory often get the wrong word when they type cause their fingers auto complete it for them wrongly
