Running windowsxp, went ahead and took a shot at using abyss.  Get an error and if you ignore it pleione engine won't load.  Know it's not really an update, just figured i'd throw that in since someone says they have abyss working with 32 bit.

Blade something weird happened, Everything works it just that when i start Mabi it says it error-ed out but it still lets me login and everything, currently ingame with working mods it just gives me a popup Saying Mabinogi: An error occurred during execution, when in fact it did not. DO i just ignore it ?

That's really weird that you're the only one so far to get it.. Anything different about your setup than a normal one?

I use logue's packer, instead of data packer for my mods.  Bordie and python, to 'remove' the frames and for my hotkeys.
I tested with my mtu at normal setting instead of the low mtu i typically use for mabi, that shouldn't make a difference i wouldn't think though.

Other than that, i assume everything is normal.  I may tinker with things later to see if i can get it working, but atm i don't have enough free time.

Very select few bothersome trolls that Nexon has yet to get rid of for harassment are in it (only like 5), along with a list of known scammers. This list will be expanded for other servers as well, I just get tired of adding so many people. The list is from the known scammers here on this site and others that are known to scam but not on the list.

I don't see anything there that SHOULD be interfering with any of this. I'll continue to try and find things that are causing errors.

It's hard to call that better. It's exclusivity based on hearsay; a rather opinionated move. Though by being your product, it's your move to make, of course.

Very cool about the custom hooks though. Will you give any description of how to use it, or just post the test you did? I missed the test you accidentally released.

I don't like people who scam so they won't be using it. It might make people think twice before doing so now. People will only be on the list with adequate proof (as required before being put on the list on the site).

The ini shows how to do it but basically it's just..

Btw how does the blacklist work? Cause can't people just make different accounts to download with, change IP addresses, etc.?

Slight correction to what i said previously.  I get the typical error message, pleione engine does finishing loading though.  For some reason, it'll just load like 75% and hang for a several seconds, before finishing.  After that, i attempt to log in.

Name/password and secondary password.  After inputting both of those, then the game freezes.  If i alt+tab off of mabi screen after doing the secondary password, i can't switch back to mabi.  It's like a frozen program, have to finish waiting for it to process before you can actually load the game/graphics, mabi does that.  I let it sit for roughly 3 mins though, and it didn't switch to char select screen.
Did the same for any set-up i used.  Clean client or packed mod folder, bordie, and virtual server.

That's the point when i closed it.

There will be ways around, as with anything, but at least this will help prevent things. Not going to say how it works because then it will make it easier to bypass which would void the point of all of it.

@Fl0rn: It's hard to tell what could be wrong, especially being I can't replicate the problem on my computer. I'll work on adding some error codes to try and figure out where the problem is.

I've also gotten that "an error occurred during execution" popup window (or whatever it said), only it didn't stop me from playing as normal. I could continue playing with that error message in the background. All enabled mods were working just fine. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Updated with a couple tweaks and some error codes. Hopefully this will tell me something and I won't have to add more.

Using the mirrors (incase you haven't updated those yet), I get the same error Kurisutaru gets, but it appears the second I launch Mabi. The issue seems to be the patcher, not Crackshield.

Also appears even with all patches disabled.

I can login and play just fine, but the error is quite worrisome.

Did you redownload after my post? I am updating the mirrors as I reach 100GB of bandwidth from just today on mine and now my site is down until Dec. 1st (maybe earlier). If you did redownload then is there anything in the log?
