Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Hi guys, uhm just wanted to ask how to get the font size larger or back to normal? I disabled the bitmap on abyss.ini and restarted Mabi. It doesn't seem to have changed anything..I tried quite a few times and the txt is still the same. Please help... ^^;?

Did you also disable bitmap font position fix?

Also, check /data/gfx/font, any fonts there will replace the default.

Thank you that fixed it. ^^ But uhm another thing, Disabling lance counter when I want, I have it enabled but when I tested it in game the skill ends regardless. What should I do to fix that ?

It's not Infinite Lance Counter, it's just Disable. All you can do is choose when to cancel it instead of being forced to wait until it automatically cancels. Infinite Lance Counter is possible, and it wouldn't do anything game breaking; so if it's requested enough, it may get implemented.

Bring back the 1-charge Fireballs from skill.dll and all hell breaks loose. I made a mule Fireball mage just to troll by launching them around in Dunbarton lagging people. Fun.

Btw, would it be possible to implement some trick to fly in the no-fly zones in Iria/Tail/Tara or am I gonna have to edit the map .XML files? I hate loading Tara twice to get in Rath Castle...

At the risk of scorn, i wish to ramble a bit.


Party to outlaw board existed in previous unmentionables.  There was also a separate feature, i think it involved packets?, to force the bandit spawns to display on the map too.  This was an effective workaround to the long lasting bug where the spawns don't display properly after triggering an ambush.


If both of these features are rejected, my current recommendation is to use bandit spotter and hang around dunby.  If the bandits don't spawn close enough to the board, you just CC and look again.  If other players disturb you regularly, i would advise carrying bot bombs, and bot bomb anyone who attacks a master bandit.  While this is a bit tedious, i still find it fairly effective.

Slash Commands for use ingame:
Abyss now supports slash commands! You may toggle mods this way, but there are also special commands. All commands are case insensitive.


Some light editing...  The slash commands are covered in the first post though.  Go read it again please.

Not much of a point when they're very near party boards, anyway... One might say the same of housing boards, but there is a use for this, because there are only party boards in Iria. This is not so helpful of a reason in terms of bandit boards.

However, I would like this as a slash command. I do not have the time to find it, though.

Well, I didn't mean for pulling it up from the actual party boards, of course. Rather, to pull it up from the "Party Board" button in the Party window. That can be accessed from anywhere. ^^

I'm not sure wh I'm getting this error. This is actually one of my first times with this error. I've used Yiting's releases for crackshield, dinput8 and the recent Oct. 3rd Abyss none of them work. reinstalled abyss maybe 10+ times tried with just abyss and also with datacami+abyss both gave the same error. I can use a clean client and I have Win7 64. Help. Please and thank you ^o^

It looks like you have multiple mabinogi installations on your computer, Sometimes this can cause a conflict on the registry system, I recommend you check your registry or use a direct client launch to the modded mabinogi.

Delete the registry entry for the mabinogi path. It's under (default) in the Mabi section of the registry.

Delete race.xml? Pretty sure we've said about this a number of times now.

Do you have racedb.xml in your data folder?

I was dicking around with that this week, I can't make ANY edits to it without the client doing exactly what you describe.
Did you use the data packer by any chance?


Also, everyone who has an issue, run the batch file I uploaded on the previous page (in your mabi directory), and post the results as per that post.

This is to help you all as much as us, the less time we have to spend back and fore-ing for that information, the quicker you'll be playing mabi.

Hey everyone. I'm having a huge problem with my mabi, I've tried figuring it out myself, but I really need some help. Several things are happening to me:

1. I crash upon login to the game. (After getting past character selection screen)

2. My mabi freezes when I click login from the character selection screen, forcing me to restart client. (http://puu.sh/4J90h.jpg)

3. When I do happen to login, I wouldn't be able to move or do anything that involves sending packets to the server, (basically meaning I'm freezed but i can open my inventory etc). This forces me to restart client again.

4. When I enter a shadow mission, enter a different map, exit a shadow mission, my screen would go black and it'd be freeed, forcing me to restart client  (http://puu.sh/4J94m.jpg)

5. When Im playing mabi, randomly, the same thing happens that I explained in # 3, except it would happen at random instead of right when logged into the game.

6. When I type in my login info and try to login, I'll get this sometimes, http://puu.sh/4J8LL.png and it'll keep saying that unless I restart my client.

All of these instances keep happening to me, and i'd have to restart my client 3-10 times for me to succesfully login, only to have # 5 happen to me and repeat the process. I've redownloaded mabi, asked many of my friends, but no one seems to know how to solve this problem, so i've come now to post a question to you guys, hoping someone would know the solution lol. (Im using abyss, and tiara) I'd greatly appreciate anyone who knows how to fix this problem.

Put that in your mabi folder, and run it, put the list in [spoiler ] tags.

Alternatively, delete your data folder, and try playing mabi again. If the issues persist, post your system specifications and operating system.


Back to why I came to this thread:

Blade, could you alter the "no combat time out" to be a time out length of our choosing instead? It's all well and good to not have party time because people are getting banned, but if you come out of a fight, and afk, you're then standing there in combat mode... the entire time...  it makes it pretty obvious you're a modder.

Especially if you weren't in combat mode when you left, and you got slapped by something when you were away, and remained in combat mode the entire time you were gone.

I really like the idea, but the above makes it almost stupid to use.

Well some people get glitched recently who don't have this mod, so it's not quite as obvious as you might think. I might be able to do it, I can look into it later. Chances are it's really simple.

I put the .bat in my folder and run as admin.. nothing happens? (after it showed up for a split second) Sorry I dont understand D:
