Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

You could always dothis to the part with the download link.

But I like expecting people to read way better, given all the hard work you've put into the post and Abyss itself.

Since this isn't really worth it's own thread, and is SORT of on topic, has anyone else had an issue with right clicking to drop items into your bag?

I used to pick up items out of pets, and then right click to drop them into my own inventory, but since the update, said items just remain on my cursor.


The first change I'd made since it stopped working was to use some data folder mods, so, thinking I somehow had :censored: up EVERYTHING with them, I removed them. Still doesn't work.
I tried removing Abyss. Still doesn't work.
Didn't try removing Crackshield though.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is this now something that Devcat is actively doing? Is it my install? Is it the alignment of the stars/moon/sun acting upon the client to make it even MORE of a :censored:?

If this is actually something that Devcat removed, would it be possible (Read: not soul destroying) to mod it back in?


Back at the topic:

Secondary password login doesn't work for Steam users logging in via the steam launcher, as no username is ever sent to the server. Only an NP12 Auth.
Not sure if that's been mentioned before, but since it's not in the original post under the problem/answer section, I guess not?

Since you can just add "-Steam" to the end of the command line arguments, and Steam will pick it up, it's not THAT much of an issue.

I've never actually tried dropping items with right-click from a pet.

But yet, my friends that use Steam tell me that the secondary password function doesn't work for them due to no username being input.

It works for me if I use my email in abyss.ini instead of a username.

A Steam login attempt has nothing in the user string though.


I found the problem with my right clicking though, the only space available was in a bag that had been earmarked for other items.
I had no idea that the client actually GIVES a freak about that, since when you pick up items from the floor, they go wherever there's space.

I honestly had to try twice to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.
I mean, client functions that don't require modding to work correctly?!?
Unpossible.


Oh, and joining parties via the party board, I just get a Korean message, and nothing else happens.
Any advice from anyone on that one?

Thought I'd bring this up since it's happened about 3 times in a row already...

After turning off Mabi completely and restarting my computer, I find that the HSLaunch.exe file seems to have disappeared and I end up replacing it a few times. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this or not, but it's something to bring up if that's the case.

Like I said, it's not THAT big an issue, seeing as you can just run the client with "-Steam" at the end of the commandline if you want to have Steam integration when you play.

I WAS using the Steam launcher for a while, but it's just much more convenient to go back to using a direct launch.
Without Steam I have to say, since I was pretty tired of constant screenshots and weapon switching whenever I opened the overlay.
Plus... windowed mode. No idea why I was even using Steam overlay tbh..

Your dye isn't destroyed if the timer goes all the way down anyway (without the mod). It just randomizes the palette again.

I have it on my exceptions list, oddly enough. But now the auto secondary password is forcing the client to shutdown automatically after a crash earlier, and the HSLaunch.exe file is gone again oO;;;

If hslaunch.exe is being deleted, it's your AV.

Some crappy AVs like Norton and Mcafee and such WILL find and delete files without even telling you that they did it.
