Crackshield didn't show up in my task manager or in my hidden icons so yeah, it's not there. Also, I'm not even sure if I ever had Crackshield (I thought Crashield was for Windows 8 users that were having problems?).

Nevermind I figured it out and once I did, boy did I do an epic face-palm. Dum-de-dum-dum-dum. Also, I just want to thank the creator for making Abyss and to everyone that helped. It really helps reduce the lag in Mabinogi for me.

Instructions:

• Make sure Solaris is not installed (delete any dinput8.dll, dinput8.ini, Solaris.exe) from your Mabinogi folder.
• Extract the files from Abyss.rar and place them in your Mabinogi folder.
• Run HSLaunch.exe, if you forget you will be prompted to run it when trying to log in.
• Before updating your Client when there's an update, be sure to close HSLaunch.exe

Ahh, I must say I'm getting something awful strange. This started happening just yesterday after the maintenance:
Only when using Abyss, I have a blank PTJ; There are 2 new quests in my quest window, both blank, one with an icon and one without (can't open the one without an icon)- can't "give up" those quests either. Part-time-job doesn't belong to any NPC, deadline counter keeps looping back to 24 hours.

Another issue I'm having is being unable to mount my pets- I get a message saying "You cannot mount a character while it is gesturing", yet the pets are able to function perfectly fine in all other ways.

I've relogged, cc'd, restarted Client, restarted my PC, reinstalled Mabinogi all together, redownloaded the mods I use, cleared cache, everything I could think of. None of those worked. Any ideas? x.x

You probably have old files in your data folder.

I fully reinstalled Mabi and redownloaded Abyss & Tiara, so I shouldn't have files that are any different or older than anyone else's o.o

I suppose I'll keep looking into the issue :x

delete the file in your data folder, it's features.compiled.xml or something. Then repack your mods.

Mmm, definitely might help some people. The first time I fixed the issue, it was after I disabled Abyss so I thought that's what caused it- strangely enough I didn't have to delete anything that time. I was wrong about the issue's cause, of course xD

This is a bit of a stretch here, but you might be Abyss-banned. That stuff happened to me when I was banned a while back. If you or anyone else can't find the cause, you might wanna PM Blade to get details on the reason for your banning, assuming that's the case. Don't jump there just yet though.

that error is because your data folder mods are not updated, such as uo tiara

Blackcipher creates logs for nexon. Basically stalks everything you do on your account. I don't suspect that nexon would actually CHECK the logs unless they'd recieved reports of things such as harrassment modding etcetc... Then they'd check the logs which most likely includes things you've written in public and private chats... and they go from there... That's just my theory.. Blackcipher logs but the exact details of the logs are unclear to me.

Is unlimited party invite broken for anyone else? Any ideas how to fix it? Not sure if it is a Frontend of Abyss question, but it is grayed out in the Frontend launcher so I assume it is an Abyss function. If I am mistaken I'll move to the other forum. Either way, it makes buying and selling more obnoxious when I can't leave the banner up. Help?

I assume you haven't turned it on, since you don't know that it is part of Abyss. It is not on by default anymore.

Oh O: Didn't know that.. I just read that the "we still do not know what blackcipher does" on the first post So I'd figure that I'd share my limited knowledge of it x3... but umm.. wanna enrich me on more info on this? O: What does it log exactly.
