I had a feeling the emergency maint was to add Themida back; looks like that was incorrect. *whew*

It wouldn't matter much even if Themida CRC was brought back. Abyss can already disable it, and if it were updated, it would probably be quite easily fixed for Abyss.

The chance of them rewriting the entire CRC would be unlikely.

1: I havent seen Abyss have the ability to do such, the most I have seen is a timed injection piece, or HSlaunch disable Hackshield.
2:  A CRC (Cyclic redundancy check) is used to really error check, so i think I am starting to doubt if themida isn't working as a background process or some crap similar to an event.
3:  If the code were put back in, no update would be required.

Me and my Wife have guess a theory that its a nx bug and not mod related.

These freezes didn't occur when I wasn't using Abyss on Windows 8, though. When I used just UT (plus some other stuff), I never had those freezes.

Is there a way to get the font abyss provides and the huge lag reduction with it without using abyss?
I haven't found a font that reduces lag as well...it's pretty ridiculous actually, lol.

lol i just used unlimited party sign while i trained for like 4 hours i wasnt even afking x.x, a guildie of mine got hammered too. Yay our bans have no time limit, used unlimited for years and was never touched.

Well, about time Nexon brought out the banhammer for illicit actions, eh? Just because they don't get you at first doesn't mean you're safe. You risk your account when you mod. You modded. You took that risk. No one's to blame (but thy obvious).

Oh, I had no idea Abyss made the client render the font differently. That would explain why even the tiniest font sizes still had terrible window lag. Abyss is amazing...but now I'm getting scared to use it, lol.

Don't do anything stupid (screenshots with obvious mods and visible names) or anything others can see (stating other player's CPs) and you're safe.

Hard restarted my computer while on a break doing NPC runs, got banned. Sent in a ticket, hopefully they didn't remove the themida system for something more efficient, like an improved auto ban system...

@wingedcow Did nozo get a time ban?

no glitch, you can still see the advertisement in chat.  so even if the sign comes down, you stil can be watched.

Since i didn't use wiki on trivial, you'll consider me experienced.  I use CRC in most coding projects I do.  Since CRC is very widely used, even in archiving.  Consider your self grateful of said knowledge.  Doesn't mean that Themida is taking a day off.  Just means the error checking has.
