Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

On a random side of note. Anyone knows what's the best way to scan a Unknown Inital Value for Client.exe without lagging too much?

Post the abyss log

There should be a .txt file named Abyss_patchlog.txt on your Mabinogi folder (C:\Nexon\Mabinogi)

Scan smaller ranges? It's not the best method for a reason. If you have an idea what the value could be, where it could be, or what sets it, you'll be a lot better off.

Well let's see, If you're able to tell what's the value in this picture, then I think I might be able to provide a new mod. I couldn't even tell myself u.u;
I would do this by looking up the GUI file for that, finding that entry, and using that information to search for what code might edit it the timer. The last part would be fairly complex and involve some research into Mabi's GUI system.

I don't lag at all when scanning unknown initial. I found what you were looking for, but even when freezing the value, it still seems to cancel when it's depleted.

There are likely a couple values associated with it. Primarily, there is the width of the bar to be drawn, and there is the actual timer. The timer may not actually be a value, and rather a check against the time functions. In either case, you may take the knowledge of that position and use a memory breakpoint to find the code that uses it and research further.

Don't freeze it! I want to see if you can extend it via using the debugger to find out what's writing that value
It is client sided after all, When you use CE's "SpeedHack", The timer of that dye amp seems to decrease WAY slower then it should usually be, allowing more time to select your color.

But like Pleionecakes said. In the end, it might be very complex coding u.u...Like how I can't bypass the fishing window so it'll automaticly go manual fishing D<...

off/on topic but i wouldn't recommend d3d9 only because of the issues that have arised by using directx and the conflicts of compatibility and timing, and even though i initially brought up the idea to Aka. for solaris's proxy i think its better off to go with his initial idea for ijl (or a similar dll without as much resources needed or dependencies of the dll to cause timing or compatibility problems)
but at the time there wasn't as much information for bypassing hs or themida without using crackshield; so imo if there is going to be a massive change with an auto delete for noobs it should be done the right way instead of taking shortcuts and being "slapped together" and now seems to be as good of time as any since so many are collaborating on the idea.

I'll take a look at the GUI
I imagine that if the speedhack slows it, the system is actually using time functions.

If Steve uses that address, it might actually be pretty simple from there.

Probably something like setting an on-write memory breakpoint there then scanning the editing function for any time calls, or possibly retracing the call history to look for the same in earlier functions. Not very complex.

Then it's probably not injecting properly. Make sure everything is installed correctly, and if it's not, you may be having Florn's issue which he fixed with by changing the LoadDLL string with: LoadDLL=dsound.dll

Yes there is a multiclient in this. All you have to do is run two instances of Mabinogi with an unofficial launcher (or a launcher bypass). The Frontend launcher should be fine, there's nothing else special to it.

Jinsu does not work, it's very old. I have not tested the mods it contains themselves, though.

Ehhh. Frontend won't run a second client. Telling me Mabinogi is already running, please close and try again. Are there other alternative launchers/bypasses you could suggest? I'm currently only running with Abyss and Frontend and Abyss just had the HSLaunch but no actual game launcher. Obviously the actual game launcher won't let me run multi, either. @_@;
