Oh, well for me I can get on it just doesn't make any changes to the game... In the compatibility it says mine should work though. I'm using a windows ultimate 64-bit.

Yes the 4 files are in and I don't see what needs to be "configured" other than putting a 1 or w.e number next to whatever you want to use. When I say it has no effect on the game I mean nothing works. Its as if its not even there.

Well for now it's broken so all we can really do is wait for a fix. Unless you feel up to the challenge of making your own patch and helping the community? I would if I knew what I was doing

I get hackshield error "0x30000091" right after I click "Start Game" with the Abyss files in my folder, whether crackshield is running or not. Of course, I remove the files and it works. Issue just started today it seems.

It seems as though that's HackShield failing to update (I think.. I don't have a list of HackShield error codes anymore), that's a problem if you don't have Windows 7 x64 or your anti-virus/firewall are blocking HackShield from updating.

I tried disabling my anti-virus. I use Avast. Didn't work. I use Win 7 64bit; I've been using Abyss just fine until recently. I tried running the autoup for Hackshield and it says it's up-to-date. Suggestions? xD

Nevermind, it seems like a simple restart fixed it.

Don't have abyss, but, as was said, confirm that the files are all in the proper location.  I would advise either moving a back up of this mod's dll files back into mabi again and overwriting (in case somehow the dlls got changed) or backing up your .ini file(s) and then dling this mod again, just overwrite the default .ini with your backup one.

Other than that, missing dlls or wrong dlls, i can't think of anything that would cause the mods not to work other than not having the options you want to use, set to 1, which you already said you've done.  Don't know much about this mod either though, so grain of salt.

No idea really, as soon as I finish my secondary password client.exe crashes. I'm gonna tinker around with the ini to see if its a specific mod causing me to crash.


EDIT:Still didn't work for me, not too sure what the problem is, although it seems to be dinput 8... I think

I don't really know too much about it either. xD Solaris worked fine though. Its weird because I get no block and all it does is cancel all sound. Even if I set everything to 0 the same thing happens...

If it blocks sound then for some reason it's not properly transferring to the dsound.dll in your system folder. Make sure you have DirectX.

Wow my bad, I'm an idiot. I just updated HS manually and it worked. So ya crackshield isnt letting HS update for some reason.

• Before updating your Client when there's an update, be sure to close HSLaunch.exe

He said HackShield, not his client. It's supposed to let HackShield update but apparently blocking it for him for some reason.

last hackshield update was what 3 days ago? its possible he had hslaunch open during that update and the day and a half or so later or maybe didn't try to play during that time but closed hslaunch.exe or restarted pc before doing the manual update like persona is suggesting.
