Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I also did confirm today, if i do not manually go in to the .ini and tell it to read dsound and dinput8, then my client does not work.  It'll flash a white box as if mabi is loading, then it quickly closes.  Confirmed this with task manager as well.

Keeps telling me i need to run FakeShield not Crackshield. Whats up with that? It pretty much says the same thing as if you dont have CrackShield up while trying to boot up mabi but it says FakeShield instead.

It's nothing to worry about. Just go about it like it's CrackShield.

You.. What O.o.. Why are you trying to have it inject itself? Are you trying to open up a paradox? D=.. The only reason for that really is if you want to inject your own mods. dinput8.dll and dsound.dll should be getting called automatically since they're proxy dll's.

Problem is, i do not believe they are getting called automatically.  I tried to open my client without making that change to the dll line.  All that happens is the client will open as if it's starting to load, and then quickly close.  Confirmed via task manager that the process will not stay open.  After i add those two dll to the .ini though, it runs as expected.

dlls need a call function insterted somewhere and pointed to when you start something.
example: Start client>(inside client[call event handler--->>>specified dll<event handler, initalized.  Proxy load at xx ms>])

If neither of the dlls were getting called, then changing the .ini file would make no difference because the dlls are the ones reading the ini.

That's what I was saying xD.. It wouldn't take effect unless dsound.dll was getting injected, if it wasn't getting called automatically.

Florn, have you tried without the redundant dsound.dll? Perhaps it's only not loading dinput8.dll for some reason.

Nexon qu.... or maybe it's microsoft quality?  I know next to nothing about .DLLs so fraid there's nothing i can other than follow any instructions given.

EDIT: For some reason this seems highly amusing to me, maybe it's just my lack of sleep though.

The dll should be getting called, first locally, then from the system directory.. If dsound.dll doesn't get called then the ini shouldn't be read, meaning that it should never load any dll's you put in there since they aren't getting read..

Could you post a screenshot of your mabinogi folder? I'd really like to find out why it's doing this... cause this is.. abnormalasfk.

Couple folders were cut out the top that's likely irrelevant.

data, Editing, HShield, and movie

Editing's just where i keep some commonly used files from the data folder that i tweak regularly for testing as well as a couple modding tools like mabiunpack and bordie.

Did you try playing without Abyss patcher? Could be the 141 Tiara patcher which was just updated a while ago unless you didn't do so. The skill.xml is the part that causes crash because of an outdate. Nothing related to Abyss.

Blade=0000

Just replace what is said.
Username: Your username.
Password: Your FIRST password, the one type in first screen.
Secondary Password: Second password on screen which you click.
Blade=0000 is the same as the top. Usename=Your second password.

Also Blade for some reason I have the patcher to read right click enable to work successfully but when I actually try to right click my character it doesn't show the window at all.
