Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Darkened Fonts
« on: February 04, 2012, 02:56:48 am »
When we had public bitmap fonts working, i created this mod to make it easier on me to see the text in game.  Originally i found bitmaps less laggy, but had a problem with the size/brightness making them difficult to read in a lot of areas.  I also removed the transparency effects, which cut the file size in half.  You may or may not notice a change in your lag with this, and i've not thoroughly tested this in absolutely every area, so you may have trouble with some text in random spots.

That said, here's the link and i'd appreciate comments on how much of an impact it actually has for you in game. (both legibility and lag wise)

Notes: Please pay attention only to the brightness/contrast of the fonts here.  Yes, i am using other mods, but they're not included in this post.  Most the stuff on my FL was hid for privacy, one name was someone who can easily be looked up on mabimods, the other i simply used as a display example.  Neither took part in the creation of this mod.

Based on you're screenshot I can't really see any difference, which is good I guess if it's suppose to be less laggy. o .o

Well, like i said, it was originally intended to be used with bitmap fonts.  It don't reflect as much difference with the regular fonts, other than the off-line friends names are an obvious shade darker.
