Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

So in an effort to not be completely lazy, and get this topic back on.... topic, I swapped the normal range anim with the stand offensively anim. Since it never seems to cause problems if I shoot before my character drops. So far it's helped some, but it's hard to get the timing down now, so I miss a lot.

if anyone else with this problem wants to test it for yourself, feel free to and tell me if it works at all for you.

TL;DR Version:

Rename: data\gfx\char\human\anim\tool\bhand_g\female_tool_bhand_g01_stand_offensive.ani  <-- to --> data\gfx\char\human\anim\tool\bhand_g\female_tool_bhand_g01_aiming_range_01.ani

Okay, honest question! What do i need to use to unpack this and change the files? I noticed that the file names use human as a race, shouldn't this be elf and not human since the problem only exists with elves? I don't understand how changing female human animations would affect elves... This is, like, the only thread that wasn't shot down by other people who don't get the lag. Thanks ^^. Also, once I unpack the file how do I go about swapping it? I don't know how to repack the file D:.

As far as the client cares, human=elf

How do I swap the files once they are extracted? I didn't see any other options in the unpacker that said I could.

Alright well i got it working, i think, and at first it seemed to completely negate my lag, but further testing showed it was still there, however the lag was showing up significantly less often than before! Thanks for the help! I will be keeping up with this thread in hopes you find more solutions ^^.
