Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Possibly we can go off of the ideals of the dll edit. how exactly that changes it and try to figure out of to do it from there.

From what i remember, all it does is stop you from aiming while running.
That or something about AR...

Yeah just stops you from aiming while moving.
ie. gives you human ranged (But you still shoot twice)

It's under the IsEnableMovingAim procedure.

I'm doubting it's possible, but I just felt like trying something out, creating an alternate animation, with an alternate name, editing XML's to have it read, even though it's not named to any file used.

Thus. creating its own animation that is perfectly in time with the skill.

Now, I've never personally gotten this problem, so I don't know what happens exactly, but from what I hear, that would fix it.

Not even sure doing that would even work at all.  Been so long since I've touched mabi files, besides over teamviewer.

Someone said something about it being a problem with Processors above 1 core.
I was just quickly disproving that (since you don't seem to get it).
There was a whole thread on Nexon forums about it too, apparently.

And mine, just for reference. I'm hiding behind the window.

I set my Affinity to 1 core (Core 0) for Client.exe, and no change. Just to test anything possible.
Now about those Animations.....
I'm probably not gonna go to class today, cause I don't feel like dealing with English.

I remember idiocy posted on here, saying literally "Break your computer to fix elf lag"
Running gamebooster, letting some stupid freaking program edit your registry, and disabling cores.

Gamebooster helps with some things, like unnecessary background processes such as print spooler. That is, if you don't know how to go turn them off yourself.
Programs to edit your registry are moronic. if you don't know how to do it yourself you don't need to let something do it for you.
Generally i like to use all 6 of my cores. I payed for them after all.

My rule, if you can't do it yourself, then you never do it.

This goes for using registry cleaners, and gamebooster, and much more.

My only exception to this is learning by example and anti-virus.

Good rules.

My rule on viruses is: Don't download homosexual erotica. (Censored lol)
I don't have any active anti-viruses, but i do scan once a month. Never got a virus.
I find things like Norton and McAfee to be viruses themselves. I nuked a HDD For my friend once, re-installed Windows and Norton was still there. (Vanilla Windows, not Dell bloatware Windows). And by nuked I mean re-formated and scanned with a magnet. :I

We had a topic? oh right. xD

I guess i'll go download 3ds since my room-mates aren't here to complain about me using all the bandwidth.
(I forgot how tiresome the word filter on MM was.)

I'm not absolutely sure, But from what I remember, I think this was due to something about, because the load speed for elves is fast, the animation won't finish or something, similar to that.

Whatever the problem is, the first shot works fine. but if you try to range successively, any consecutive shots don't start loading for at least a second after they're supposed to.

Normally when you shoot, the instant you release the arrows you should be able to begin loading the skill again.

With elf lag it doesn't let you until about a second after, at the very least.

Also, sometimes when you aim at a mob, after shooting 5 or 6 times (Assuming it's not dead by massively OP Elf Range damage), you just aim and can't release the arrow.

Another part I've seen is whilst aiming at a mob, my party-member kills it, and it locks my aim onto the dead enemy for maybe 5 seconds, all of which there's absolutely nothing i can do. completely vulnerable.

Im not really sure exactly what causes the elf lag thing but I really think it has to be either the cores or something that newer computers have but old ones dont. I used to have an old windows xp computer with a pentium 4 and that thing my elfs arrows shot flawlessly with no delay what so ever I had no idea what elf lag was till I got rid of that computer. New laptop and bam 2-3 second lag after i shoot anything especially fast and strong monsters that wouldnt die in 1 magnum like those arats boars in silab culin hard. I would still try to play with the lag until I would begin to freeze up longer than 3 seconds and monsters would teleport to my location that was the last straw I quit playing my elf for a few months after that. I dont remember exactly when I started playing it again but I think it might have been sometime after g9 or 10 whenever they did that update that supposedly fixed the elf lag for people which it did help alot it probably is gone for some people or barely noticeable its enough for me to still tell its there though the delay isnt really longer than 1-2 seconds anymore usualy but its enough to get me killed by really strong things like shadow warriors or fast monsters like the arat boars. I think I might have to learn how to bypass hackshield somehow so I can just use one of those older dlls to fix my lag since it doesnt seem possible to fix this without a working patcher.

A P4 Processor is 1 core. Earlier in this thread we confirmed there is no change between using 1 core or more.

We had one idiot awhile ago insult 3-4 members, staff included because we told him his piece of crap underclocked alienware meant nothing on this subject.
He has been banned for that now, very heavy harassment to staff and other users.

How would I think you're banned?  When I'm staff, and have access to the logs.
