Its just a glitch in the maintenance only nexon can fix it

How can I remove race.xml i have found it, but dont know what to do.

Also data unpacker is in all sorts of jumbled or japanese letters.

Are you trying to remove race.xml from data\db\?
If so, just left-click it and press 'Del' or 'Delete', whatever your keyboard says, and click 'Yes'.
If you meant take it out of your packs, then do ^, and then open up 'Data Packer' AS ADMIN, press 'Remove Mods', confirm it,press 'Find Mods', OK, 'Modify', OK. (Remember, Data Packer has to be in your Mabinogi folder)

Something in Tiara is crashing me the moment the giant fire sprite for the Shoot the Sun event appears. I forgot which file I need to delete or update in order to stop the crashing. May I ask which file it is?

By now, you shouldn't have race.xml anymore, only data\local\xml\race.english.txt

dam it..... today when i run mabinogi, and click any NPC, the game freze.... this happen last night 9PM
was it mod problem or the game problem? cuz anyone i know does not has this kind problem
and i reinstall game and the mod, also use Data Packer to mod files, still same problem...

Can you click on NPC's if you DON'T use mods? Because I'm guessing it's data\db\race.xml or one of the npc files.
If it's not mods, it's just another bug ontop of the ones already known. E.g. Chat problems

OK, now WITHOUT mods, it still happen.......i was on yesterday like wholeday, the problem appear around 8-9PM last night, and EVERY NPC i try to talk to FREZE my game... what should i do next?

THX guys problem fix it was the bug that happend NOTE:
In the latest update, the Spirit Weapon Transfer Quest (Untranslated) was added by accident.
-You will receive the quest if you currently own a Spirit Weapon.
-Do not talk to Tarlach if you received this quest. If you talk to Tarlach you will receive a Keyword that will cause your client to freeze when you talk to any NPCs.

I was just wondering if this still works as of the recent update. It doesn't seem to work for me anymore.

I crash the moment the game finishes loading after selecting a character. What about you guys?

I did data pack. However, I've already found out why it was crashing.

I fail at reading. I now deleted the Itemdb.xml and it works fine now.

Idk if this has already been answered in previous pages, but for some reason, I didn't get a ZEP.ini during the download/install.
So I can't disable or enable the specific mods I want/don't want. ): Is there not one included?

You must have these in your Nexon\Mabinogi\ folder:
- data folder
- Data Packer
- package folder

Now run Data Packer as Administrator and press 'Find', confirm, 'Modify', OK, Close the window.

Now, if it doesn't work, then you're missing some default stuff, or your Data Packer is corrupted(?)

-Download Unofficial tiara.
-Install Unofficial tiara.
-go to C:\Nexon\Mabinogi
-right click data packer and run as admin. (You should have data packer in this location, but if you don't get it and put it there.)
-click find. (a huge list of modifications should pop up.
-click modify.
-go on mabi and enjoy. (if you succeed or fail report back so we know.)
