Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Because using itemdb.xml & race.xml requires updating them each time they're patched with a new version. This means you can't play properly with them applied to your client, and idiots don't know how to delete these 2 said files. Therefore, the simple solution is to just create the 2 .txt's mentioned by Kota, and it doesn't require updating to play (however, still needs updating to translate names of new items, etc.).

Amaretto stopped updating at R69 presumably the same reason Penguin Eater passed it along since they no longer play mabinogi.

And color change on myth. But yeah I guess there arent too many public edits to item and race

because the only edits tiara does to itemdb.txt is fossil names and race.txt only changes skeleton squad names.
and if i added it to change the mesh for skele's then race could be removed altogether.

does myth still need colored? thought nx fixed that awhile back and i dunno if tiara does that edit anymore since it was not mentioned in penguin eaters notes to me.

mythril ore started out as transparent, not sure if it still is but like always mods handled nx's inability to convert/translate everything or fix the bugs along with trying to convert sh*t you don't understand yourself.

no just two .dds's one for fragments and regular ores and tiara still mods them but have not checked if they are still needed.

It's been altered by Nexon, they now appear naturally different, it doesn't need modded different anymore.

Would be false positives. Its safe to use. If you don't believe that to be the case, then merely don't use it. Unless you have a working patcher, do a custom install and only bother with the Data Folder. The patcher would just cause you errors.

Its not Tiara that got you banned. Plenty of people got falsely banned for either a day or up to about a week. Please don't ruin the good name of Tiara over this. Its just a data folder and no one can tell your modding unless you give proof via screenshots or tell people you are using it.

Mabi crashes everytime i try to summon my firehorse ever since i downloaded the data mods just a few hours ago. Any way to fix this?

Oh and have you tried deleting the Mabinogi\data\gfx folder? That's usually where the character / animation files are.

And also try deleting what Shaggy said under~

the only file that should affect fire horse is the data/sound/joust_horse.wav which doesn't cause crashes.

Does the poster's data folder have a skillinfo.xml? That was the cause of my crashes when I got my firehorse, would be my guess here.
