Hey guys,

Just wanted to update on whats going on. So i did as instructed and i found out that it was the db file in data that was causing me to freeze. how ever i havn't had much time otherwise to figure out the exact file. so when i have the time ill be sure to let you guys know.

If you have itemdb.xml or race.xml inside the 'db' folder, delete them for the time being.
If it doesn't work, try deleting the 'skill' folder. These 3 things are usually the ones causing problems.

you may have a newer item on your main and using an outdated itemdb.xml that's causing you to crash upon log in.

There is a very long downtime, I imagine they may update some files while they're at it.

So here's a quick notice for y'all.

Run the data packer, click remove, then close it.
When the downtime is over, run the launcher, if you download R95 patch, come back here (DO NOT POST ABOUT IT!) and wait for the tiara R95 update.
If you do NOT download a new patch, you may re-pack mods by going find>modify.

nexon did not update client so were still on R94.
skill/hot key bar was reset due to them not making any backup or restoring and their webshop is down so its not mod related.

I still do not have a working bypass i wish to release that is fully compatible with all operating systems (specifically windows xp) and even more so still hate the idea of handling tech support for the majority of macro's/bots, data mods ie tiara and patcher's because eventually if i keep trying to play this one person band i'm going to hit bottom like everyone else and can only hope for someone else to help the community.
maybe someday i will leave data mods and bots behind me and focus just on private/public patcher's but today i'm obligated to at least uphold tiara and autobot has always been open source..

I hope you don't get burnt out, Shaggy, but it seems to happen to all mod providers. Tech support can be soul-crushing (trust me, I do it for a living!). People are unwilling to learn or research themselves. They're ungrateful for what has already been delivered to them. They want everything delivered to them on a silver platter!

I'd love to help you as much as I could, but usually by the time I've logged on, most questions have already been answered by someone else (working a full-time evening shift can do that, hehehe...). And I don't think I'm as knowledgeable as other members here when it comes to applying mods...

Still... I'm thankful for what you've done for us, Shaggy. ^^

Out of curiosity.. wtf is CRT. Don't tell me to read through hundreds of topics just to ifnd the awnser... It apparently breaks everything but WHAT IS IT?

its one of the functions used in making a crc bybass.
CRT stands for Create Remote Thread.
CRC is Cycle Redundancy Check.
so basically its fooling hack shield into skipping or not knowing if a memory modification or patch's are taking place.

i cant run mabi through the game start from the site if im running mabi through the .exe from the nexon folder how i get this to work? ive installed it but it wont work when i run mabi

Lol yeah sorry i am running mabinogi from the launcher in the nexon folder, but the mods wont start up and before the game start thing got messed up it was just fine

Alright, so starting from install (this is not saying reinstall, it's just a quick rundown);
You select the directory to install.
Install it there.
Run it to allow it to patch if needed.
Come here, download tiara.
Tell it the same directory mabi installed to.
Install it there.
Open mabi folder.
Find "DATA Packer"
Run it, click "Find"
"Okay"
"Modify"
"Yes"
"Okay"
Close it, run mabi.

PM me teamviewer information, I check it out, fix it for you, then post what I found wrong for everyone else if they have the same issue.

Problem resolved, I set up a new shortcut and changed the target line.

So can I assume that Unofficial Tiara won't update again unless at some point it regains its patching features?
Afterall, what else more is there to add to the data folder that hasn't already been done?

It will update if the files are updated during future patches.
Also, Shaggy is probably going to implement a race.txt to replace the race.xml in the future, so I guess that could be in an update too(?)

already did that

and their are still things i want to add or remove/change with tiara but technically its fine if i don't do anymore except keep it updated with each of nexon's client updates.
tiara never lost or gained anything; it has no "patching features" and never did.

just some times more then others it was lucky enough to come with a patcher provided by someone who gave permission and might get that chance again.
