The ban is most likely a glitch on Nexon's side. Many people use Tiara, and you can tell most aren't banned because lurkers havent been complaining that Tiara got em banned.

I just deleted the.. delete c:\nexon\mabinogi\data\gfx\font\alphanumeric.TTF
And now I cant type in my user name and password as well as... I cant close the game, unless I ctrl+alt+del it.

If you data pack to enable mods, then delete something.
You just screwed it up.

Go to your recycle bin and find the file you deleted, put it back.
Run data packer and remove all mods, delete that same file now, repack.

Tada, it's removed with no issues.

That's call the font folder. Just delete it and it will have the regular fonts back to normal.

Hi >.<, mabinogi did a patch and after i press start game, it gave me an error "0x00010705". I read somewhere that i needed to get rid of my tiara mod, and so i uninstalled, but it didn't seem to work. Is there a proper way to uninstall the mods?

I'm pretty sure that doesn't give error 0x00010705. However, it will give an hackshield error if you had outdated .XML's data packed into your .PACK files.

The 0x00010705 error is likely caused by you having a patcher. Please follow the R92 steps from this link to fix your Mabinogi. Please be aware that many mods which you may have had previously are unfunctional, except for the visual mods provided in the 'data' folder.

i'm not sure why some people continue to have the 0x00010705 since both uo tiara and autobot come with original mss32.dll and dbghelp.dll when doing full installs; unless they just are not updating.

Is it just me, or is running your Autobot updater magically deleting ALL the files for the Mabinogi folder?

i have not seen this happen; no one but you has mentioned it, and as for now i have to think of it as a user error or third party application both of which seem unlikely for your experience so i am sorry for the problem and ask you to provide recurrences or to look into the source code provided for bugs until i can stumble upon the code or repeated circumstance that causes this; if in fact it is autobot updater that caused it.

in other words update autobot.exe contains no delete commands and only downloads version.ini to compare online and local version and then autobot.rar and compresses its contents.

Well, I should be more clear. Running the frontend, and then closing it afterwards, makes all files that weren't in folders simply vanish. Almost as if they were "shift+deleted."

When i install autobot, it messes with my skill xml im assuming and shows a bunch of random un-usable or passive skills. I'm not an experienced modder, but just a quesiton, would deleting the skill xml do this? (also question, is the skill xml in data/db/skill? cuz its called skillinfo.xml)

found a possible code that may have caused that if you have an empty Frontend.ini file, but no one should have an empty .ini so try updating and see if the problem still occurs.

yes, remove mods with data packer then delete skillinfo and the add mods again with data packer.
but you'll also loose long range healing/band-aid and other skill modifications.
