Updated to 291.0.0.1
Fixed Installer to only install in a directory with Client.exe, removed the search function for searching for a Client.exe (you can still use 7zip to extract .exe contents)
Added Hyddwn's PatcherSettings.json to disable Force Updates by default for now since it overwrires ilj11.dll for Abyss
Changed location of Loader.exe to Kanan subdirectory to hopefully correct steam runtime error.
Various other logic errors and text changes plus checkbox to show abyss.ini and readme at end of installation.

I dont know if its tiara or abyss but with this new update when you open the bottom tab and click on character your mabi just crash, the quest tell us to go there but we cant, thank you!

Everything else seems to be working, but my client repeatedly freezes when I try to talk to Malcolm in the General Shop.

a similar question was asked around the same time on discord so i assume that was you, but just to clarify again.
most if not all npc text freezing is caused by fonts or text manipulation so mods in abyss like bitmap, true durability and item color, mods in tiara like the xml and txt files or actual ttf font files (being the most likely cause) should be changed or removed.

I made a suggestion/request not too long ago but I wanted to grab a mod to remove as much lag as possible so I have an easier time to do the Dan.

Current problem right now is Mabinogi Frontend totally crashes my main account. I will always get an email saying please verify your account with this 6 digit security code. My mules work just fine on mabinogi front end but now it doesn't work at all.


Are you able to remove the walls in Dan testing Shadow Mission. The walls block all views with Tiara mod pack. I mess around the settings to try to get it to work like "normal" testing but it does not seem to work and I still flailing about to try to see the "room" vs giant ceilings and walls in my way.

I was told to put it in my data folder but how does that work exactly? I do know you need to put it in but where does it go in exactly. Also because its been a while it seems the mods are updated and placed in automatically and load. Would it still do the same if I just add any mod I want into the folder and the mod load the changes? Or do I have to manually place it in and click a button to use the data folder. (I do recall a button that says use data folder ingame)

says my launcher/hl app crashed, tried reinstalling the mods. It only happened after I added I think my 4th or 5th alt and tried to log in then got the error. Been happening for the last 24 hours. I have to play unmodded atm. Tried removing Kanan, Abyss, use datafolder=0 and still wont work. Each of them separate install of course.

edit: apparently it's been a while since I logged into one of my alts and someone might have tried to gain access to it... (I have over 500m in it) so I basically had to do the email thing and confirm im the owner. Also try to log in normally on the main website to check if you need to change the region as I check my other alts and also had to do that basically.

The insert key doesn't work for me to open the options. My insert key is also my 0 key on my numpad and just summons pet.

So I've been getting error about Themido (?) not being able to locate "ijl11.dll", which causes the client to not open up.  I checked and saw that the dll file was in mabinogi folder though.  Any thoughts?

Also, might be related, but both Chrome and Windows security is throwing a hissfit over the installer containing a virus.  Maybe that's not letting the installation process complete?

you will need to find a key remap program on google or mabimods, as Blade has one on here somewhere.

you will need to add uotiara to your antivirus exceptions since abyss's ilj11.dat is being false detected as a virus

its a known issue, just turn off all mod features relating to NPCs in both Kanan and/or Abyss such as ''Speed up NPC text'' , ''Hide background Screen while talking to NPCs'' , ''View NPC equipment'' , etc.

The MOD features might not be worded the same in their config files as i typed them here but turning off everything with the word NPC in it fixed that issue for me.

Dont know which exact npc MOD feature(s) makes the game freeze/crash, too lazy to test out each NPC related MOD feature one-by-one to find out...

if u want to use NPC related mod Features, then u'd have to turn off each NPC MOD feature and try them out one-by-one by turning them ON in order and logging in game, and speaking with any npc to see if game crashes or not...and keep repeating this until u find one/more NPC related mods that's making the game freeze/crash.

-edit- I fixed the half white screen issue by changing FOV. But I can't figure out the stretching.
