Updated to R280

• Removed Mob Life Bar to Boss Life bar as I agree with Draconis's post that race.xml is a pain in the to update and served little to no purpose.
• Reverted animationevent.anievent back to only enabling Dark Knight Sound as it is also a pain to update and besides it being conventient to remove pet summon effects the only thing else it was used for was to remove Quake, which you can do with Abyss.

OK this is a first. I have a windows 10 pc and it's deleting your installer saying it's a virus. Now I know this isn't true but this didn't happen in the older versions. What should do?

you'll need to google "how to temporarily disable windows 10 antivirus" and "how to add antivirus exception in windows 10" or go through your settings yourself to discover how to allow the installer to be downloaded.

Tiara needs to be updated.  See the Modding Report R281/282 once I have it up.  You can remove the files affected temporarily.

They added content as far as 3 new maps.  When new content is added like that (not text files). Very rarely does it affect anything, other than the new files not being modded lol.  So, let me give you a list of the maps added.  Likely, only 2 of these are ones that our client (NA) will use.

Getting a missing ijl11.dll error after installing. I was using Kanan before, and it was running at the time if that affects anything. I use the steam client.

Edit: Reinstall of Tiara fixed it. Now it appears one of the mods included causes me to crash when talking to npcs. Still running Kanan so it could be a conflict issue.

Kanan is not the issue. It appears that only Abyss puts in ijl11 in the folder, trying the other two options for the data folder enabler remove the .dll and its .dat

Yay, I'm crashing on startup now. Removing Tiara (by selecting "none") didn't help. All I wanted were the minimaps
Don't run the installer tens of times. I just discovered I've accumulated 1.1gb worth of backups lul

the backups are created when you choose to delete the data folder, you can click no during this if no old or outdated mods are present and even delete the folder manually if you wish, especially when using other data folder mods uo tiara doesn't overwrite.

there was a logic error when not choosing abyss it seems, which should now be fixed in future versions, so thanks for bringing that to my attention.
most tiara users choose abyss since it's the best of the 3 options, though i do plan to replace data packer.exe with kanan.

npc crashing while talking is usually to do with one of the data folder ttf fonts and not sure if it's random or a specific font, as no one ever reports which font crashes them at npc's.

camera angles isn't a data folder mod to my knowledge as most those types of mods are done with memory editing like Abyss or Kanan

There was no uninstaller in my installation.

not quite sure how that's possible, what windows version are you on? does the setup create program information in windows programs and features list or start menu?



it's not really one of those things that can be disabled so not sure what caused it from not being created throughout your many installations except closing the installer before it finishes or it maybe not having admin privileges.

yea, that's where it should be located, as well as in the program list and right clicking on the unofficial tiara program in the start menu should bring up uninstall too.

Also:

• "Unrestricted flight maps" have been patched with serverside checks on Nexon's part, you just get trapped in a cycle of rubberbanding until you figure out where the no fly zone is supposed to be.

• Could the delaggers be moved around in the installer, so that you don't have to uncheck 30 boxes? Maybe have one toggle option for each zone that you can expand if you want to customize it. Same for snow removals and "always noon"

• I think several other mods have been moot for a while, I'll come back post them when I run into them again.

• Bitmap fonts should be tested for fps increases though, as I'm pretty sure vanilla already comes with a lagless as of one of the recent generations.

yea, i know it was patched awhile ago, but i tend not to remove them for years as it doesn't hurt anything by keeping them in.

that is the way amaretto added them, i have been grouping them since i programmed the ability to do so in R173, but only do about 10 a month so your going to have to wait awhile for that.

that's for blade and cursey to decide as i have nothing to do with Abyss and Kanan, you can always disable it.

yea, thanks for saying so, but had one person on discord crash and i actually wasn't aware mabi updated today, so decided to get it done asap so.
