Just wanted to say, I reinstalled tiara after cleaning my mabi folder. Did the data packer, but I noticed a few mods are not working whatsoever. Such as the CP mod, and NPC equipment view mod. True durability mod. True Colour mod. Are these just not working at this time, or do I have to do something over? No need to hurry to answer, I CAN live without mods, it'd just be nice to know is all.

Ok seriously, read the post reply that clearly states "MODS DO NOT WORK". Stop posting stuff that we already know and have known for the past 2 days. I don't mean to sound like a jerk (actually i do) but freaking read bro. It's not hard. You have time to notice what's not working and type it down but have no time to read? C'mon >:l

 All you need to know how to get Tiara to work is DATA Packer. If you don't know where it is, check the file section. If you don't know how to use it, Florn just posted a guide quite recently that will explain it in wonderous detail. Till there is a working patcher just be quiet about how you don't have mods working unless its new info.

Something helpful, tiara includes the data packer now, since clearly, nobody knows how to read.
Just make sure it's in the mabi folder.

So with half the entire mod not fully working, the question is: Will it ever work again?.. Was it like permmy patched, or just needs to be updated?

Patchers are very complex, no one can say for sure.

@Barneylover When you install the new version there is a file called DATA Packer.exe in your mabi folder. Use it then press the first button, if there is a long list of things then you did it right, then click the middle button and it will pack them, and then your done.

i have been working on the patcher today and so far not having much success with getting the crc bypass working; i know it can be fixed but i'm also reluctant to continue working with this patcher because anything anyone fixes with it would only help continue the private mods so i'm tempted not to even fix it.

yea i wasn't going to say it but still i could use that method and nuke the private mods from that version and release it as the new public version but we'll see.

Honestly.. I just mod for the maps(to find treasure/artifacts faster) and for the CP mod.. the rest I either don't know about, or don't really use at all.

Hey Playtime,To help speed up teamviewer there a simple way to do this.

On their computer you working on,Go to Start>Right click (My/Computer)>Properties>Advance System Settings> Performance Settings> And choose Adjust to Best performance.and Click Apply.

This will make closing and opening items on their side almost instant.
I use teamviewer alot while helping friends or new players to denagle their computer.
To offer them a more enjoyable game time.

Also,This will let your computer load up windows/programs ALOT faster then it was with Windows choosing whats best.

I don't go into any windows besides ones related to the issue at hand, or the system information window to see if they are x64 or x32, since most people don't know.

uhmmm so i downloaded the new tiara and i played around with the memory thing and it keeps giving me hackshield error and when i set it too 23000 it just crashs help ploxz?:x

There is NEVER a valid reason to redownload mabi.
Unless a new computer or reformat, but that's not "re"downloading, now is it.

Mods can always be repaired back to working condition, any error can be resolved and the game made functional again.

If for some reason I can't(or the rest of the people who do tech support here, can't) fix the problem at hand, you can simply restore your game from a back up.
I've included how to make a back up in my guide.

Frontend also will automatically create a backup for you.



That aside though,
Why are you having to redownload? What is happening.

IDK everytime i log on hack sheild says error and then uninstalls the whole game T_T it was right after they tried and failed to fix mabinogi

You need to remove the mods in your Mabi folder via Data Packer.  Make sure that the only thing you have is the Data folder and Data Packer, nothing else.  Also check to see that you don't have Itemdb.xml/race.xml in your data folder.  After doing everything, reinstall using the Data Packer.

I don't think people know how to properly uninstall/install mods using Data Packer.  Why it's so complex to some, I don't know.

honestly i ended up putting it on hold since nexon had done a few maintenance's; just in case they did something that would have just made me waste my time trying and we have some theories in place so now its just a matter of trying it when i'm not preoccupied with friends/family/job.

either way uo tiara and autobot are working and these are my primary projects.

That...was random. Either way, read and do some research. All you can really do at the moment is use the DATA Packer method for the data folder type modifications. You can find everything you need to know if you searched for it. Its all on this site
