It very much is working.  I just verified as functioning since I use what I maintain/make myself.


Verified as in my pack distribution of Tiara


I also verified them as in the scripts and that they installed properly.  However those I won't be supplying screen shots for, as I'd like to keep some of the magic secret.  (You have to run anything you install as admin and make sure your anti-virus isn't messing with things as well.)

I do run it as administrator. ive been using tiara since its been released and this is the first time this happens.

I look in the map folder and these arent there, the only maps are the iria underground

Im just asking for the cor map, like i said we only got iria underground and we did install as administrator and like i said it never hapened before

EDIT 1 : And btw on your screenshot we can tell what maps are there and when installing tiara both for me and wife, in map jpg folder we got a bit of maps missing there.

So 7 maps missing here and btw we using the latest R235 tiara. and reinstalling tiara too.

P.S we even downloaded your own screenshot and reuploaded it and anything black marked is what is missing.

It's standard procedure to run any installer especially as well as programs that need permission as an administrator in order for it to execute properly with the permissions that it needs.  Understandably, and with all due respect...  I can understand your frustration.  However, it's also standard for me to make sure to ask this question first (pretty much every time, because yes, it happens a lot, and people sometimes forget).  In all your posts you did leave out an important detail...  Which version of Tiara are you using?  This is a very important detail!

So... I went one step further to the FTP to rule that out.  Very few prefer to use the online version anymore, because the offline version has all of what the online one does now  (I checked).  The files on the FTP are there, so at this point this leaves your firewall or anti-virus that may be possibly interfering.  I'd check those then proceed, or grab one of the other versions.  I can assure you that the files are there in all versions.  No more screenies though, other than this one to show that yes, I had someone else check.

I won't distribute the maps over this medium as that goes against our files policy.  We prefer to serve files in the files section.  However, I'd have no problem sending via another way if that were the case.  Now...

Alrighty, when I said version:  I was referring to OFFLINE, ONLINE, or PACKS.  I put this in caps for emphasis. >:|  I mentioned this many times. 

When dealing with a particular problem it's helpful to know WHICH one you're using.  I know what my intentions are when responding and many others do as well that know my true nature.

I repeatedly showed you in every possible way that the files were there in all formats.  I even went so far as to get someone else to check.  This is all obvious.  (lol)  So, In the future I've a request... Please re-read what you say (as I have to do it as well) before you post and try to think from other perspectives.  Also, please be prepared to be wrong--heck we're all human after all.  We do make mistakes.    (I made a mistake a few days ago that took me a long time to fix, and I've no shame in admitting it, but I kept it behind the scenes as much as possible.)  You've made several so far by not reading the full content of my posts. =/  Failing this, you create more problems that need not be. 

To address your latter sentences: IF this is the first time this has ever happened, and I'm not saying I don't make mistakes.  Then I think I'm doing pretty darn good and taking a lot of flack from you and dis-respect.   I'd appreciate if you'd at least oblige my requests for info and details in order to help you better.  It's been me  that has been maintaining ALL but AutoBot.  Dealing with situations like this takes me away from being able to fix it.  There are many that want it back.  This is something to bear in mind that one's actions also affect others.

There are 3 versions of Tiara of any particular revision that I maintain. *facedesk*  I'm sorry you're missing the point here.  I also am aware that you're frustrated, I get that.  I'm glad you were able to fix your problem.  I know that the site pushes the online version of the installer.  You can "choose" 2 others aside from that.  Honestly based on you being unable to answer such a simple question is what's frustrating me I admit.  Having the knowledge of which of "type" of installers you're using or pack setup would be able to help others greatly by me being able to keep tabs on things just in case.   It's important that I know which one so to keep tabs on it in case anyone else has issues.  So far, you're the only one that I know of that's having issues.

People that take pride in their work are to a degree going to take some things personally.  Actually, I know my work is good, because if there's a mistake then I push out another version to fix it.  So essentially this can all sum up to...

The TL/DR version:

You:  There's no maps!"
Me: I'm sorry you're having trouble.  I'll check.
*Time passes*
Me:  They're verified and in each and every place they should be.
You: "YOU NEED MAPS!"
Me: But I checked...
You:  It doesn't matter if the maps are there and working.  YOU NEED MAPS!"

There are 3 versions of Tiara of any particular revision that I maintain. *facedesk*  I'm sorry you're missing the point here.  I also am aware that you're frustrated, I get that.  I'm glad you were able to fix your problem.

I don't honestly have much to contribute to this whole scenario, but in the interest of keeping things smooth i will input my own feedback.


In regards to mabinogiplayers, wording is absolutely everything.  Missing maps, or rather missing files?  Can be confusing and frustrating depending on how badly you want the files. 
On that note, i actually reviewed the posts to see where you're pointing fingers at tiara or draconis, and i couldn't find it.  Way i'm reading it, what i'm seeing is you say you're missing files, specify which files you're missing, and provided additional details.  I will say, whether you take this as a compliment or insult is entirely subjective, you did much the same as what i'd at least try to do, whether that's how i come across or not would be another matter.

So i'd like to end that with just saying, don't get discouraged.  crap happens, to put it bluntly.  I can't say why you're missing files, or what the problem(s) could be.  You made multiple attempts at this it sounds like, and you're now seeking feedback, so i'd say you're doing pretty much everything right.  And it seems you have since resolved the issue.




Towards draco's posts, i think it was mostly just misconstruing the situation.  I don't feel draco's speaking out of ill will, but i do understand how frustrating it is to troubleshoot another's issues.  I can stand to do mine, but i absolutely hate helping anyone else troubleshoot their problems, even if directly given their laptop/pc.  It's just so much easier if you're doing it for yourself as you're not held to any standards or expectations other than your own, as well as being able to at least vaguely recall various related actions you may have done on your own pc/laptop.  I personally hold much higher standards of myself, when helping others, if i truly wish to help them, and i know others are like this as well.  That said, draco is regularly doing this for many people for every update, and probably more frequently than that.


I think my best advice for draco, only to this situation, would be to just chill and go with the flow.  Obligations may tie you to helping others, but keeping your own pace is what will make it tolerable.  I'm sure blade3575 (think that's right) knows this all too well, but it is impossible to replicate issues across various machines and users.  Sometimes there will be problems that look exactly the same, you can solve one but can't do a thing for the other even though the end problem seems to be an exact duplicate.  Ask questions at your leisure, take a bit of time to ponder responses, and always wonder if there might have been something you'd overlooked, where should you start looking for that something.

Looking at the big picture as to what actually matters:
It's more rather when someone voices something... I need the information in order to improve or better the end product.  Another point on this is a collective knowledge base that's constantly kept current by people's input.  When a person isn't willing to at least answer the most basic and simple questions I ask of of them, then yes... it's very frustrating.  It makes it rather exceedingly difficult to resolve anything much less help anyone else.  The payment I get out of this for all the time I invest and help others is constructive and concise feedback. If I don't get that, it makes it rather pointless doesn't it?

I truly understand where you're coming from  (I've been there), but when I ask of something from you and it's in order to help or better serve you and others... I do expect that you oblige. I feel that this is more than a reasonable expectation.  It's literally the only thing I ask for in return.  That being said, I'm more than willing to let the matter drop, but... I need to know those concerning this actually get the message and understand.  Aside from that, I'm good... really.  I'm sorry if I'm coming across as... perhaps overbearing, but I do have the best of intentions.  Intentions are what matter for us both.

This is on your end with your firewall, anti-virus, or even your browser with possibly plugins interfering as the most likely culprits. I just verified all downloads with my phone as working just now.  So I've no idea why you're having issues on your PC.   Try something else other than what you've been doing, like using a different browser, or checking those things I mentioned.

Note: A phone will usually have more issues dealing with ads.
