Hey professor Im trying to download mods and have never had an issue but I am on a mac using parallel desktop and for some reason it says that It can't find mabinogi.exe in the beginning when tiara mods starts up but continuous fine yet when it get to the DATA packer part it tell me to copy to mabi install dir then run but it is in the computer>c :disk>nexon>mabinogi>  folder so I am very confused maybe there is something different I need to do if so any response or help would be very grateful.

Your data packer is in the mabi folder correct?

Yes I stated that in my earlier post sorry if it was miss leading.

And you verified that the data folder did indeed go to the mabi installation folder? Sorry just covering bases, cuz you can continue fine with tiara installation to another folder.

If Ninja's post is correct for you, manually run the data packer, find > modify

Oh, yea, because when Tiara runs the data packer its running it from a known path file, not the manually made one. DURRRRR thanks adam bby

Well I mean, if Tiara got to that step, the data folder has been created, and if it's failing at the packer, just manually pack it.

yeah so I have tried to do this and when I do open it I get this "Copy to mabinogi install dir then run" for some reason which is very odd in my opinion because it is in mabinogi folder O_O.

We could guess here all day, but with a picture of your problem, we could probably get it first try.

Something like, a screenshot of your mabi folder open, with whatever issue you're seeing as well.

Do you have,
C:\Nexon\Library\mabinogi\appdata
As a filepath?

Put your mods in there, and try again.

Okay will do soon as im back home had to go outfor a sec but really appericate the quick and helpful reponses

So I tried but for some reason the datafolder still ends up in my other mabi folder instead of my mabi appdata folder and when I moved it to the mabi appdata folder it worked but there as a error and it said "opps" with a bunch of encryption symbols. So I went ahead and try to manually move all my mods like I did the datafolder and messed up some where because im not too sure what folders are the folder......NVM I followed your advice and after awhile of freaking with the folder it worked !!!

For some reason all other players besides mine are invisible. How do I fix this?

Here's a quick question, I think anyway... First though, I'm so glad to see that Tiara has been updated.  Although I've been away for a bit myself. 
When I run the install for Tiara it says it can't find the client.exe of course because it's looking for the old c:\nexon\mabinogi folder.  Anyway to get it to look in the new location C:\Nexon\Library\mabinogi\appdata?

When you first start the Tiara installer, there should be a file path in one of the VERY first windows, this is where you can change the install path of Tiara to the new file path, or any file path that you've manually created. C:

Updated to 214.0.0.3:
The default install directory will now load from the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Nexon\Mabinogi and if you decide to use another path other then default or if that path is invalid, finishing the install will update the mabinogi registry path, it will still provide a missing Client.exe error which can be skipped just incase that registry path is invalid

Other then have it search 2 or 3 locations for Client.exe (which i may add later), this should solve most install issues

I haven't actually used UT in a while (I've been maintaining my own mod updates for some time), but it is great to see you back. One thing I would like to bring to your attention.

I'm not sure if this was addressed previously or not, but the last time I downloaded UT, there was a CP modifier line that was overlooked. In standard.english.txt, it's:

itemoptiondeschelper.1   Looking a little weaker.
(should be line 314)

This is used for the Broken Arrow enchant, which is -250 CP.

Thanks for the fast response guys, I've decided to reinstall UT but now when I do and run CrackShield, Mabinogi doesn't even open, I used the data packer and pressed Find then Modify, too, but now Mabi won't open. :c

change DataFolder=1 to DataFolder=0 in Abyss.ini and remove all mods with data packer, and let us know the results

Same thing occurs, Game Crashes, what if I don't use Crackshield?
