Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

So like.. when i use tiara... my character becomes naked, headless, all my items and skills vanish but apparently people can still see what im wearing when theyre not existent in my UI... Any idea how to fix?
Delete features.xml.compiled, I've read.

That's... even worse than i expected...

Just from looking at your log-in screen, nevermind the hackshield error, i can tell what your problem is...  I did search it though, to be certain it wasn't that you just changed your log-in screen background.

Anyway, go back and learn the basics of modding.  Even if someone helps you, this is gonna occur again, along with a multitude of other simple to fix issues that literally would take a modder who knows what he's doing, under 3 mins to fix.  Read up on some of the stickies, get an idea of the pros and cons of direct-launch, learn what to do and what not to do when using something to read the data folder.

so from googling the error myself I see that it is saying the havent updated error. I made sure I have updated to divine knight before using my mods. I just installed these and now my log in screen from aces. Im just coming back to mabi so I didnt put two and two together so I guess ill reinstall.

My problem was that I had two versions of mabinogi installed. One from before the nexon launcher crap and one that was current. The one that was from the nexon launcher wasnt from C:/nexon/mabinogi but instead C:/nexon/library/mabinogi, so tiara was defaulting to the older version which did me no good but I was able to fix it myself thanks.

I have a question about the auto bot however, I was wondering if I could use it for mabinogi without it messing with my other windows. i.e. bot bard skills while playing battlefield or something

Right...  It may not run without the file, but you can remove any modified version of it and the game still runs, as the original should always be contained within the pack files.  Neat trick though, if you straight up deleted the features and still have all the pack files.

I found the solution a page or two back on the thread, but now it seems some titles and item names (i think anything new after g19 came out, like divine gacha items) are in korean (or in my case, blank with the white rabbit font), how does one fix this?

EDIT: After the Valentines patch, the Pleione Engine initialization stops near the end and after uninstalling tiara, the client crashes before the logo pops up (sometimes the first part of the jingle still plays)

I am having the same problem with the Valentine patch and i cant seem to fix it. I did not uninstall tiara though it just stops at the Initializing Pleione Engine.

Here is an update for Tiara. 198 to 201 update. Only the files that were changed since then have been included. Just install these over your data folder.  I also added itemdb.english.txt for:
..\data\xml\
..\data\local\xml

This file was only added to resolve some of the text issues people may have had with Korean text displaying for items as they're released.  Normally this isn't part of Tiara as this is a file that changes frequently and really doesn't impact usability of Tiara otherwise.  This is just for convenience. I hope this helps others. 

@Shaggy,
please feel free to double check as needed and use.  I used TortoiseSVN diffing/compare tools to validate and verify. I also tested this for about an hour before releasing it here.

Sorry, I dont quite understand what to do here im really new at this.
So i would need to delete some files for the new patch to work with the modded tiara mabinogi? Mine is still stuck at that Pleoine Enginge Initialization phase.

I'm saying specifically the Tiara mod package (as a whole) may not be working currently (for R201). I understand how to apply the mods and un-apply the mods with datapacker and also abyss.ini. The abyss and crackshield programs may be working properly but something isn't when you have a tiara modded mabinogi R201. The completely unmodded mabinogi post R201 works just fine.

I understand how to install Tiara package also (got it to work before R201). Run installer, check mods you want, install to mabinogi folder, run abyss.ini to set preferences, run datapacker to modify files, run crackshield, run client. So my modded mabinogi worked just fine before R201; after the R201 patch it won't work anymore. I also patched to R201 (without crackshield on while patching of course), ran things at admin, used the modded launcher, repatched by deleting language.pack, made sure to be running crackshield when trying to get launch the R201 client. The bar stops just shy of the end of the Pleione Engine initialization so you cannot log in and play the game. The client still shows it is modded (tiara icon, abyss options, etc.) and has no hackshield error or anything.

So I tried to see if this was caused by Tiara mod package. I first used datapacker to remove the mod files (restore). And then i ran the uninstaller for tiara (uninstalled everything). Test ran client, still had problems (although this happens often after uninstalling tiara). So I went to my backup unmodded mabinogi, made another copy, patched the copy to R201, test ran client, worked just fine (no Pleione Engine initialization issues). Then I installed Tiara on the patched R201 copy. Did all the installation process as stated above. Test ran the client, Pleione Engine initialization problem again.

So I'm in no a technician on this but I'm just putting it out there that there MAY be a need to update Tiara for it to work with post R201. So hopefully a certified mabimods technician or shaggyze can look into it :x

As for your reply, I'm assuming you mean somewhere along the lines of "the patch files may have overwritten some of the mod db/xml files and thus are causing problems"?

I know you may have to run datapacker again after patches so i tried that. Still didn't work.
Also tried making sure to save all the pre patch xml/db files from Tiara pre-R201, patched R201, and then readding/overwriting the new ones with the pre-R201 versions. Still didn't work.

The only way I've gotten past the Pleione Engine initialization issue is to run a completely clean mabinogi.

When I make the updates, I compare the current Tiara to the one pack newer, and then copy the "newer" stuff into Tiara via the tools.  If you do this right, then you choose to keep both copies.  The you compare/diff them.  This of course means you have to know what each file does and the "settings" within.   

That all being said, any update packs I've made only work specifically with files that are part of Tiara with the exception of one that I added to fix the translation issues we've had in game lately, and that is itemdb.english.txt

You can install a fresh version of Tiara 198, which is what I did, then install the pack (198 to 201). Ah. Sounds like more work than most common basic modders will want to do. So tiara as it is currently without any manual fiddling has some problems with R201 :/

I did get mabi to work with partial Tiara mods earlier. Tons of glitches and bugs with animations though (stuck in the ground, hands holding weapon postures when nothing is equipped, etc). Think I'll just wait for a tiara update from shaggyze as i usually do :o

Edit: i just noticed you're uploaded file post. I'll check it or tomorrow maybe and see if i can get tiara mabi to work with it.

LOL. Yes, I was rambling a bit. Mostly, because I didn't wish to leave out any logical or common sense thought processes (well, to me anyway).  xD I've been updating Tiara for the last few patches. I've brought another mod pack out there to current status that's called DataCami, which was 4.33AU1.  I've also been working on Casting Motion Fix, originally from KR via Vee. At first I asked Vee for this, but that hasn't panned out well due to time perhaps.  My own personal packs use these things I've mentioned along with a few Korean ones.  I've also asked Step29 via PM if he'd be ok with me releasing the updated DataCami.  I'm going to be attempting some other things later perhaps, but have been consumed by music lately (samplers).

IF anyone knows how to get ahold of Step29, please do so and have him check his PMs please.

So I tried using your patch for R201 Tiara and I can't seem to get it to work?

So from what I understand I:
1. Download your zip
2. unpack (contains the updated data foldeR)
3. overwrite my current tiara modded mabinogi data folder with your updated one (replace all conflict files with your files)
4. Run mabipacker, hit modify
5. Run crackshield
6. Run mabinogi.exe or _mabinogi.exe to launch client

My client won't even show up now. It does show the process in task manager but other than that it's nonfunctional.
