I have a problem installing and running Tiara on my windows 8. After I install Tiara the installer freezes up when I click finish. after closing out the window with alt cntrl del I tried to launch mabi but I get an error that pops up and crashes the client. this is my first time using the mod so im unsure of how I get it to run. the error I received said that I did not have the graphics card to run mabi? I played the game fine before the mod but does it have something to do with the installer freezing?

try reinstalling without abyss, as that is the only thing i could think of that would affect that message being displayed, use data packer instead and if the installer freezes just close it and run data packer from the mabinogi root folder

 I re installed mabi, clean with no mods, now it wont even detect my graphics card with tiara uninstalled. I don't know what I did wrong but now I cant play the game at all

after hack shield and nexon guard load up, right before the game fully launches I get a "sorry for the inconvenience" message that says " you do not have the graphics card required to execute critical functions for this game. client will now terminate"

try updating the drivers to your graphics card.

Try going to your Mabi Directory.
Find "default"
Double click, you will be prompted Yes or No
Choose Yes.
Run your Launcher, Then Start the Game.

I don't know if this will work, but it's worth to try.

*You must have your registry editing enabled, or else it'll just tell you that you need to enable your registry editing.

resetting the defaults worked great, I almost gave up on trying thank you very much. reinstalling the drivers did nothing but it was worth  shot thank you all for the help

I figured out what was wrong with my secondary password crashing woot ! I have been running on an unsecured network and that seem to scramble the secondary password for me I made sure I have a firewall and avast then logged in as work network. That fixed it for me and I want to thank everyone for all the help they gave me to try to fix this  Skitty, Shaggy, Draconis and ImagineA and thatguysteve!! Its good to know that help is there when you need it thank you again all!!

But I have a tiny problem - how do you make the in-game messages pop up??
For instance, "The marvelous sound of Asdf's Harvest Song has increased gathering speed by 30.01%..." <these kind of messages don't pop up anymore; how do I make them come back? I can't even erase the mod because it makes my otherwise brutal lag almost completely disappear.

after I downloaded Tiara, I can't open it without it saying there's a new version of Tiara available.
Then it sends me to a link to download the new version, and when I open that one, it says there's a new version again.

Also, when I click no, it just closes without patching the "old" version, so I'm just stuck.

my mistake, i thought i had separated the version checks between autobot and uotiara last revision, but i forgot to change one line of code.

and the old versions will now be treated as obsolete.

Hello, I keep trying to use the fossil restorer in auto bot but it keeps messing up badly causing me to fail every time. I attached a photo of it as an attachment

try changing the two new options in config.ini
MouseCoordMode=0
PixelCoordMode=1

MouseCoordMode    Sets the way coords are used in the mouse functions, either absolute coords or coords relative to the current active window:
0 = relative coords to the active window
1 = (default) absolute screen coordinates
2 = relative coords to the client area of the active window

PixelCoordMode    Sets the way coords are used in the pixel functions, either absolute coords or coords relative to the window defined by hwnd (default active window):
0 = relative coords to the defined window
1 = (default) absolute screen coordinates
2 = relative coords to the client area of the defined window

other then that it may be an issue with your resolution or multiple monitors that is throwing it off
judging from you screen cap, your screen looks squeezed together for some odd reason.

and remember to change channels every failed attempt so you don't lose the fossil.

no kidding... i'm talking about the window you cropped being smaller then it should be unless you resized it too, but anyway try the options i provided and if they don't work i'll add ways to change the x/y offset in a future relase even though it should already be getting the exact position based on the image detected.

Would it help if i said i was windowed but stretched to fit my screen?

i usually do the same and it doesn't affect mine, try to update autobot manually, i just added two options to offset the mouse moves so that you can adjust it manually

I haven't been playing mabi for a few months but is there any important reason autobot shows up as a virus to avast or is it just a false positive? Just making sure nothing shadys going down like that one time front end was compromised.

Hey guys Ive been looking around and can't seem to find anything on this but Is there a script I can use for autoit that can be used just for Shadow bind? And if so how do I use or get it?

Since the last update, I have been unable to get the game to even start. It was playing fine until now.
When I start Abyss and MabiLauncher, it shows the correct versions (190) and appears normal. When I launch, nothing happens afterward.
Game does not start. I tried uninstalling everything, and installed Mabinogi fresh, and have the same problem. When I start mabinogi.exe, hackshield loads then nothing.

I uninstalled and deleted the mabinogi folder again, reinstalled 190 fresh from Nexon's site. Then installed UOTiara 190 and end up with the same problem. The MabiLauncher comes up, shows the version and when launching, the launcher screen goes away but then nothing happens.

This is a Win7 system.

Abyss may no longer work for you, it's becoming an increasing problem for many people, uo tiara packed with data packer even if outdated will not crash you until you log into the game so you'll need to post in the Abyss thread or reinstall uo tiara without Abyss.

Is there any way that bitmap fonts could be used on my Mabinogi without needing Abyss? Through Tiara maybe? Just curious if this is possible or maybe if this is out already without my knowledge. (without Abyss though)
