Okay guy's this is kinda getting me upset, I checked all the files in the data folder and nothing i found was the cause to make my mabi crash right after the 2nd password login and i checked the Abyss.ini and everthing was fine the data packer deleted and still nothing happened , need help please!

debug it slowly
1. start mabi with clean client? take off all your data folder mods and abyss. if problem persists, then you should re-dl mabi.
2. now try playing with abyss. if no work, you have failed copying & pasting files over because abyss r187 does work.
3. repack in your data folder mods. if it doesn't work, chances are you probably have an outdated version of tiara and/or you have custom mods that you are using from elsewhere and have become outdated. update them yourself or re-dl tiara v189.

Go into your video settings and mess around with the display color depth I think it was.

I am having a problem with launching the game. I have deleted/un-installed mabinogi and started adding tiara/abyss with a clean client and the problem is this: the Game Start Launcher pops up then I click "Game Start" then nothing happens. Again, I've tried clean clients with no modifications of my own and simply installing Tiara/Abyss and then I get this problem. Any help is much appreciated!

Open your CMD and type this in "bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff" (without quotation marks) can always be reverted by changing it to "bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn"

Download and use the mabi directlaunch.

Turn off UAC for your account on windows.

That's what I did and it seems to have worked, have not ran into any other problems since then.

Edit: Don't forget to restart your computer too.

Wasn't recognized as a command for me. I'm running on Windows 7 OS.

try opening cmd.exe with admin privileges and navigate to \windows\system32\

Edit: nevermind, I was entering the .exe incorrectly. My apologies. Operation completed succesfully.

Well, I got the operation to complete successfully, turned off UAC, restarted my computer, installed the newest version of Tiara/Abyss and have the same problem.

Edit: Used the site's launcher and BOOM. Like you said, it works. Thanks a lot, and sorry for my ignorance.

and all i can say is the problem is with abyss so try disabling some of its mods like extrathreads.

So I have an issue... I can run with just abyss by itself fine, but for some reason when I try to run with my tiara mods going, I can't talk to NPCs. Like I click them and then mabi freezes; it never loads the npc dialogs or even the box. Anyway I'm pretty confused haha

What can I do to fix the double space of lines of stuff in the item window like for enchant effects and stuff like that? i cant even read half the stuff now cause its off the screen

You can't run by double clicking. From a cmd prompt you navigate to the \mabinogi\ folder and type "cscript HSUpdate.vbs" without the quotes. That is how you run VBScripts.

It does for me as well, but that could be attributed to me being on W8.1.

It's about whether the extension has the association set up or not.  I'm on W7 and it's set up for me, but it may have been some dev tools that did that at some point.

If it runs from command prompt, you can just open a cmd window and drag the file/shortcut into the cmd window to load the directory.  Just press enter after dragging, to execute it.

Think you still have the file association issue rydian mentions though.

Is it an authorization error?  Temporarily close crackshield and run the official launcher to update, then rerun it.
