hey when I install everything nothing works I open them and then it closes I looked in task manager. Also I install the game from nexon.net but there are steam.api files in the mabi directory?

So, I just updated the mods by uninstalling my old version and installing the new version, and when I tried to open Mabinogi, it would do the normal routine.  But it would open the window for a moment, and then instantly close out.  I uninstalled the mods, and I tried to open it on a clean slate, but it'd still close right when it opens.  At the moment I'm reinstalling Mabinogi, I'm not sure if it has to do with the mods, or I did something wrong while installing.  But I'd like to know if anyone else is having this problem, I know my friend has had this problems many of times.  But I'd like to know if this is a normal error.

The process comes up but is terminated automatically after a few seconds.

Hello, after installing Tiara, whenever I talk to a npc the game crashes. When I uninstall tiara, it goes back to normal. Any idea what mod might be causing this?

i'm unsure as to why it happens, either corrupt download of the font or wither some pc's just have trouble with certain ones, but the issue is the font nonetheless, remove reinstall it or choose a different font.

is there a feature in UTMMD-V187 that dissables flashy items because i know i have it dissabled with mod sharker and none of my flashy stuff is flashy.

I've been having a rather annoying issue with Tiara [likely something I'm doing but I have no clue what]

After downloading Tiara I notice that there are many untranslated items.

It seems to be that anything that was added or affected by the Culinary Artist patch is now untranslated. ( name and description is all [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] )
( Catering dishes, and countless ingredients that have had their stack limits changed )

I believe this is due to me possibly having a corrupted or outdated item.xml or something but I have no clue what I should do to fix it.

Any thoughts?

Stuff will be (x).english.txt, find the one that looks like it's right from the filename and delete it so Mabi uses the default game one.

it is itemdb.english.txt and the file is updated, but i have yet to figure out what t6he issue is.

For some reason only the default font works for me. I want to use BusAccident, but when I select it while running setup I get this weird font that has really bad line spacing.

it is still bus accident, but since g17 nexon changed the line spacing and i've done little work to accommodate for it.

Actually when I fully log off, everything re-sets.

check your HOSTS file or reset your MTU too 1500, this is not a uo tiara problem, but a problem with you connect to nexon's ui server.

Try what shaggy said.  May also look into a python release someone released, originally in mabinogiworld i think.  Anyways some keywords would be mabinogi, hotkeys, and python.

Yeah there was a little python program that acted as a local copy of the hotkeys server, but that was like, a year+ ago?

Trying to put in the current version but it keeps telling me to close Crackshield before continuing. Thing is, it is already closed. I tried running it then closing it to see if that does it, but it doesn't work. Clicking the x button doesn't do anything either so I'm stuck on the screen with the window popping up telling me to close HSLaunch.exe What do I do now? :S

Excuse me as I am new to modding and I honestly don't know much at all.

The system messages that show up in a big font in the middle of the screen (Ex. Battlefield Overture effects) aren't showing up. I don't know what mod triggers it.

Also, what does the "empty mod146" mod do?

Things I think should be changed/fixed:
1) When I turn off all of the sound removal mods, I cannot hear anything from horses when they run or winged pets when they fly
2) make the DK sound and pet effect removal separate, because i want the sound and i want the effect
3) also in the current version for some reason after installing tiara, every new item that was released during doki doki island and later have their names as item.xml.XXXXXX, idk if it's a bug with tiara/abyss but i thought i should have pointed it out (I use the white rabbit font if that means anything)

EDIT:
4) and even if every mod that removes pet summon effect are disable, thunder dragon doesn't "RAWR" when summoned

sorry but only one of those is going to be changed/fixed and it's a problem i don't have an exact solution for yet, delete your \data\xml\itemdb.english.txt and data\local\xml\itemdb.english.txt to get your item names back.

all the sounds for pets and their summon effects and dark knight are in a huge file data\db\animationevent.anievent and i will not be making multiple versions of this file due to the extra time it would involve.
