The Unofficial Tiara's Moonshine Mod & Autobot

Whenever I install tiaras I get this weird artifact thing around what seems to be "new" items or things that should be transparent? I'll link a few screenshots so you can see what I mean, if you know what the problem is could you help out? Thanks!

Edit: I also tried removing my HD pack and anything else it could have been, so I'm 99.99% positive it's tiara.

i have no idea, nor do i care to check as it doesn't affect me, gameplay or the masses of players since your the only person to mention it.

it may very well be another mod you are using besides tiara or the 'ego glow' mod of tiara, but since i don't know it's up to you to figure out which file is causing it.

I found out it's in mod_sharker, just need to figure out what exact patch now

ah, it's an experimental one that step29 made (easy assumption because he's made most of them), but i used it a few times and experienced the same sort of glitches, but can't remember which since i removed it after getting unwanted effects.

I keep getting "Copy to mabi dir then run" at the end of the installation. Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this?

you most likely don't need to do anything about it; if you are indeed installing uo tiara to your mabi directory (although to fix the error you will need to edit the registry and correct the mabinogi directory) and are also using abyss then you don't need data packer anyway.

So I just reinstalled Tiara, and for some reason the CP doesn't show up.
Did I miss the mod by any chance?
Can anyone tell me what the mod is called so I can check it when I run setup?

Does Abyss.ini exist?  If not then you didn't choose Abyss in the installer.

The minimizeing effects are not working. Is this an issue? Because whenever I enable the minimization it just keeps the models the same nothing invisible like it used to, or even the robed/blob models.

it's an issue with nexon, change the slider manually in options or change channels, even then at times it may flicker on and off when enabled.

Yes, HSLaunch installed but Abyss didnt

'Cause hslaunch comes out of the same zip that the Abyss patcher does.

I'm not sure (not at computer ATM) all I know is that everything I had installed worked except abyss (tiara is the only mod I use)

I'm in desperate need of help. I've been using mods, for as long as i've played Mabi and i've never really had any problems. I'm now on Windows 8 (I'm not sure if my problem is because of that) and everytime the installation finishes and it gives me that [Finish] button. I click on that and it freezes forever, always have to force close. I think this is the reason my mods aren't working. I really need some helpp.

I reset my pc few days ago, and I noticed in some of my games.. I have these weird black bars on side. Mabinogi is one of them. I dunno how to fix it.

And two, I had to redo my mods (Keep in mind, I am on an external harddrive for Mabinogi and I've never had this issue.) I launch Mabinogi frontend and it says it can't even locate Mabinogis installation. That makes me REALLY confused. Any ideas?

And yes I have reinstalled and still says same stuff.

Frontend uses default file path
C:\Nexon\Mabinogi

Frontend cannot be changed to go to any other file path.

that is why frontend is giving you that error, also, this is tiara thread, not frontend

I've experineced this with another Windows 8 computer, the good thing about Tiara is that you can manually do what it was trying to do.

When you click finish it usually launches the Data Packer.

This can be found in your Mabinogi folder, just go find it and manually run it.

Click "Modify" and you're done, just exit and start up mabi.

I have used frontend to patch my mabinogi (which is an external) many times and it always worked. Why it doesn't work now is beyond me

proffessor's frontend does work with any location, but it's most likely missing mabinogi's location in the registry, which can occasionally be deleted, changed to the wrong location by various programs or reinstalling mabinogi too many times to other locations.
run regedit.exe and change the default value of HKCU\Software\Nexon\Mabinogi to the full path of the mabinogi root directory.

Default is in the correct place. So now I'm really confused as to why it wouldn't work. And why my game has these obnoxious black bars now. (And I apologize, but no one would answer on the other part of forum, so naturally, I posted here.)

Back again, (this time with abyss/tiaras troubles.) my client won't launch. Like, you double click, and hit game start and nothing. (The client.exe briefly is on task manager but dissapears shortly after)

DataFolder=0if you still crash then its not an issue with uo tiara and most likely isn't uo tiara anyway so, again you will need to take you question to the Abyss thread.
