IIRC Tiara's installer downloads Abyss when it's run, so it should always be the latest.
(The abyss file URL stays the same from version to version, I assume to allow stuff like this.)

I have a kinda old problem but it's re-occuring yet again the Rano/Solea cave map blanks out when I enter and looks completely blanked out except for where i've gone what can do to fix this again so it actually displays instead of pulling up the wiki like i used before i modded. Also attached is an SS of said problem

Hi there. I wanted to come and report two important bugs that both seem to do with cutscene skipping:

Final Shot Quest - Elemental Arrow Longa Dungeon
If you skip the cutscene using the cutscene-skipping XML, this dungeon will fail on the boss causing the character to be stuck and the mobs will not spawn. Basically the quest can't be cleared. I had to re-install my client to get this to work as not even disabling data-read from Abyss fixed the issue.

G18 Episode 1
I'm not as sure exactly what is going on here other than Tiara can cause the client to crash when starting up Episode 1 of G18. Once someone starts Episode 1, they will crash on the cutscene. If you try to log in, your character will immediately be placed in the cutscene again, which will result in a crash. This essentially means the character is unplayable until you do a fresh install again, which was the only way I was able to regain access to a character in this situation.

No, I do not data pack my mods, I only use the data reader from Abyss and disabled that in both of these situations to no avail; only a fresh client worked. I just think these are very important issues that can cause a lot of frustration especially for new players that definitely seem to have some correlation to the features in this mod.

Try the mirror, try clearing your browser's cache.

If neither work, fix your internet so it stops dropping out.

I'm also having the same problem. The first link is the one I usually use but it's down or something. I try and use the second one and it keeps downloading at different sizes, highest being 8.1MB or something. I'm pretty sure that's not the normal.

I tried the things you suggested, but I have no idea what's going on.

currently my main web host is down which contains both abyss and autobot (uo tiara has a mirror web host for overseas, but often fails with usa isp's), so you will need to download abyss from its main web host http://mabimods.net/index.php?topic=14126.msg216981#msg216981.

Hi Shaggy, I keep getting this error: Error 1 and Error 2. I have no Idea how to fix them. My computer has no firewall, no antivirus, and this is a fresh windows 7 install. I have everythingup to date and all the items on your list of required things. Please help?

I no you said something wrong with it but, its not my abyss ats jacked up, my tiara wont even pop up when i open mabi, there no tiara, so abyss wont work, i tryed installing and deleteing it 3 times, no fix, but the tiara not working.... $:-\$

get abyss manually or use data packer.exe to apply uo tiara's mods.

im getting the exact same issue, windows 8 and so are a few of my friends whom use win 7, http://puu.sh/7tbCH applying tiara alone will not work, the log in page remains blocked without abyss manually patched into the folder. Im not quite sure whats wrong with either my laptop or the download, there is no firewall enabled or virus software to block the download.

Ive been reading this thread and the Particular issue that "luxlucis" has seems to be occurring for me as well. I did read and follow the same steps posted . I don't think he must be the only one with this issue right now, It would really be awesome if this could be looked into a bit more. Please and thank you (:

until the main site is fixed which is out of my control atm usa, canada and mexico may have issues downloading the file completely just as some of the over seas countries have issues with my usa web host.

It says Abyss and crack shield failed to install, check in your antivirus if it is quarantining it or something like that. I've temporarily disabled my anti-virus and that didn't work. There is no abyss.ini file or crack shield to run. I have also tried mabipacker, but it still doesn't work.

It worked perfectly fine prior to a system restore. I tried uninstalling the mod and deleting my Mabinogi folder and used my back up Mabinogi to install the mod, only to have the same thing happen again.

The websites for downloading "what you need" is not working right now, so I can't try those fixes.
