it's something to do with the fonts for some people and i haven't figured it out or done team viewer with anyone with the problem, but the solution is to delete the font in \data\gfx\font\

My CrackShield is crashing for some reason. It says "Error occurred during initialization. [Code: 5, Result: 0x00000200]". This normally works find the for a while after I first put mods in, but then it always seems to happen after a while.

Also, I checked the other thread about how to fix it, but I don't have the "autoup.exe".

Edit: I think I fixed it by running HSUpdate.vbs and then datapacking it again. Or maybe I just got lucky? xD

I tried to reinstall and update nothing works...
without the mods i crash even more -sigh-

If you're missing MSVCP120.dll you need to download vcredist_x86.exe at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 since I updated Abyss's source to VS2013.

um, my mabinogi was working perfectly fine alwhile. So I was gonna go do saga and went thru mana tunnel to raspa, and got hack shield error. Now everytime i try to launch mabinogi the hack shield error comes up? o -o

close crackshield (double click blue shield in the notifications tray by the clock), run C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\HSUpdate.vbs (download here HSUpdate.vbs.) then delete all files in C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Mabinogi\Cache\

Every time I run the client a generic windows error pop-up says:
Mabinogi has stopped working

I updated the vdist already to get rid of that error, tried running the updater for autobot and hackshield still getting the error.
I do not get this error without UO and company installed

Any ideas?

it could be an old mod in your data folder or you can try uo tiara with data packer.exe without abyss.

Hello, I'm a bit out of touch with mods since I stopped playing for a few months. Can we still use data folder + packer without using edited launchers, crackshield or any of the abyss files?

okay, since it's an optional mod and i have no lag when using it; i won't be changing anything, but i figured if you were having any issues with features.xml.compiled, it was with visual chat since it uses my webhost which isn't that fast anyway.

What is visual chat anyways? The lag was definitely visual/rendering, though I wasn't using a modded/bitmap font so that may have had something to do with it.

it's a small button, bottom left of the chat that you can draw pictures on and send, anyone with the mod will be able to see them in game.
