Not sure how to describe, but maps are untranslated, and for example, I warped from Filia to Dunbarton, and it still showed the Filia map, merged with another map.

I'll post pics when I encounter it again.

I believe what you're encountering is a glitch caused by client lag.
And when that happens, there's nothing you can do but change channels.
If changing channels doesn't fix it, relog. use /logout to return to character select and log back in.
And if that fails, then exit mabi and start over again.

I'm trying to use Autobot to pick up Hillwen Ore Frags while I mine but they aren't being gathered. It's detecting the ores in testing and I've set the tolerance to max.

well you never want to set the tolerance to max, if anything you need to crop your images better.
in testing the tolerance is set to a static 75 i believe.

try reinstalling the latest uo tiara again, and maybe use an alternative data packing method like logue's mabipacker.

Cue dumb question, but what directory are the OU Tiara fonts installed in? I've been searching for it but I've yet to find it.

Panda: Sorry, but untranslated maps is -definitely- not a result of the new map mods. Take Shaggy's suggestion.

Poverty: The directory is "\mabinogi\data\gfx\font\" The active font should be named alphanumeric (I think the extension is .ttf? I haven't used modded fonts in a while...)

Okay so looking at the abyss config, which one of the items do i make 0?

If you set ControlDayTime=0, then it will not set a permanent skylight, so the sky will get darker at night and brighter at day, like normal.
If you set it to either 1 or 2, it will be set to always be midday lighting or midnight lighting, respectively.
And if you set it to 3, then you can pick a specific time you want the lighting to always be.
If you set 3, then use Time=   to set what hour you want.

So if you don't want to use this setting, set just ControlDayTime to 0.

minimapinfo.xml, IIRC, controls which maps show for which area.  Try removing yours from your data folder?

I am having some trouble, but i do not know if is tiara or my computer

I have an all-in one gateway  with E1-2000 AMD Graphics HD (i think 9700 series) 1.40 Ghz
i had an old laptop that could run this faster, with tiara but now..

i use tiara and tail/tara loads from 30 seconds (which i think it's way too much for tail) to 50 seconds, shouldn't be otherwise?

i don't know what to do really, i use tiara with abyss.

I have a pretty new computer with a decent setup and even with Tiara delagging tail and Tara by removing buildings it can sometimes take me two minutes to load into Tara. I don't think It's as much about your computer or internet as much as it is about Mabi. I still load in faster than other people so there is some to be said for a decent connection

Is there something wrong with the crackshield? After I open 2 other clients I can no longer start up mabi in any way. I'd have to remove everything in my root folder and use my backed up root folder then re-install tiara. But the same thing just happens. It seems like maybe NX is actually detecting it now with that NexonGuard. But if that isn't the case then, why is it acting like this??

Anyone use Autobot and know the exact Font that is used for metallurgy to detect and work properly

the font used for the preview images was a bitmap font used in some patcher a few years ago, so who knows which one i was using when taking those samples...

your suppose to take the images yourself so you can use whatever font your currently using.

make sure when taking the images you don't zoom in or out until you click the 'edit' button afterwards to crop the image to the edge of the letters of the word your searching for; it can detect any font and image given you do this part properly.

Sorry for the really late reply.
There was no font folder where you directed me. I reinstalled with a clean client now though. Oh yeah, my problem was the "talk to an NPC, client freezes on you" thing. If I avoided installing any fonts in Tiara should that fix it?

if you had no font folder their then you had no fonts installed with uo tiara.

R177: only a few new translations and client/standard text/prompts added that i have yet to compare so not sure if i'll be updating uo tiara or not since these files do not cause crashes.

Since there was an update early this morning, both to the client and hackshield, i'll ask; have you updated your hackshield today?

Also, have you attempted searching for your specific error code, and if so what have you attempted to resolve this issue?  Hackshield errors are typically specific, so if you get one just searching for the error code can be enough to quickly get an answer most of the time.

both the client and hackshield need updated, someone else posted that error and fixed it by updating, the mods themselves still work fine minus some minor translations that i will get too.

You don't need to reinstall every update.  You just launch mabi normally, no direct launch and don't load crackshield.  At the log-in screen you can load crackshield.  If hackshield fails to update properly, just go into the mabinogi folder, hackshield folder, and look for the update program.

When I try to run AutoBot I get an error saying I'm missing the .ini for the respective bot I want to use. Where can I find these .ini files such as Metallurgy.ini?
