Hi Shaggy, long time player and Tiara user. I play on an old computer and the only way Mabinogi is possible to play is with Tiara's assistance. With the new update and new Tiara update there's constant freezing for me, without Tiara(while using Abyss) the freezing isn't present.

not sure what to tell you then since tiara hasn't been changed much in a long time and the mods themselves are designed to prevent lag, let alone a specific mod (that's new; which none were added between 174B and 176) that effects anywhere your at?
most likely server lag or a latency issue with so many players on checking out the new diva expansion.

no, uo tiara doesn't come with korean maps, but did you by chance use logue's mabilauncher and get any korean .packs due to not changing it to NA?
i would reinstall uo tiara first and watch if it downloads the map files then check C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\data\gfx\gui\map_jpg to ensure they are there and in english.

then you have a corrupted .pack in the package folder that is changing the minimapinfo to look at the _kor maps instead, try deleting c:\nexon\mabinogi\package\language.pack

I re downloaded language.pack twice using the default launcher; still going korean.

Should I try using Powerpatcher?

I had a similar problem after updating UO Tiara. Dunbarton's mini map wouldn't load at all, but it worked fine after I picked out a few folders from the data folder. I also removed the Minimap.xml (or something similar). Unsure what it was though. I didn't try too hard.

Edit: I fixed my problem with it. It was "minimapinfo.english.txt" within the data/xml  and data/local/xml

I'd also like in inquire about the Mabi System Menu (Or whatever it might be called.) It looks like a button was meant to be added, but it wasn't. Either that, or a mistake in spacing.

My bad. I tend to always keep my data folder because I customize a few things, and then update them after UOTiara updates.

minimap.english.txt was removed from uo tiara a few versions ago, since i now use the real names of the latest maps

so the fact you still had it means you skipped the first questions in the installation to delete your data folder, which everyone should do.

i believe it's a missing  button for composer which we might not get here according to
 
but i'm going to try to enable it's boolean and gfCircleBoreadaeBoann to see if we can get it.

try using another packing method, like data packer, abyss or logue's mabipacker


as for the system menu

those are the missing buttons along with the composer button 'Bard / Music' that's behind the options button, but i'm not sure if NA still has the composer website but korean's do so maybe i'll edit the system menu and urls later

actually i think your '734   Erinn On Talk' button is enabled because you either edited 'if condition="[@isUSA;bool]" not="false' in data\db\layout2\systemmenu.xml or are making mabinogi think your not usa elsewhere

The maps in the Tiara folder are actually outdated. I just looked at the pack file, and they are named differently. The new ones are the updated cleaner maps and have the moongate locations as of the current update.

Hopefully, that will help you out a bit.

what?, tiara has the latest maps named accordingly and combined the _new maps with the old modded ones with 50% transparency.

Myself and a friend are having the same issue as flipside101 with the modded maps not showing. I tried using both Abyss and Datapacker (separately) to read my data folder that I freshly installed this morning after the update to Tiara. Deleted it just a few minutes ago and installed a fresh folder once again but the modded maps still do not show up. I'm not sure what else to try atm.

you can rename the data\gfx\gui\map_jpg\minimap_iria_courcle_eng.jpg to minimap_iria_courcle_mgfree_eng.jpg for now

I did a clean install (with setup 173r), updated it to the latest pack.
Installed Tiara, hitting next, next, next..
