um, the first 20 minutes that i released it, it had a bug with installing the fonts, not sure when you downloaded it, but i would redownload, remove my data folder and reinstall mods.

Edit: It worked. Thank you, Shaggy. Had I not asked why my fonts weren't working, I would still have this problem. xD

Updated to 173B: Finished the Uninstall issues and most if not all of the bugs then added a few more mods i hadn't had time to put in.

First time I saw this last night I didn't pay full attention and thought I saw a player using trans mastery as a wolf lol. Thanks for the constant updates Shaggy and the people who contribute to Tiara!

Anyone know why effects dont show up in game? Such as rain, fireball, pet summons, etc? even with tiara gone?

that comes from vanilla mabi; menu -> options -> performance -> uncheck mini effects

Does anyone know which particular file in the "Always Noon Sky/Weather Removal" mods that removes the sun glare/screen bleaching?

I have a quick question about Tiara's defogger mod, does it include Solea and Ant hell? I went to Solea for herbs today and there was fog.

it use to and i apply fog=0 to all minimaps, but apparently i've heard it's no longer working from several people, but haven't investigated it myself to see if it's now using a separate file, server sided or my mistake.

Pretty much around the saga update, the map underground would be fogged up. Map still works fine from what I see just the fog is there again. I don't really mind it since I got used to seeing around Soleas but it possibly needs more investigating to see if there's a way to make the defog work again.

What exactly is the unrestricted flight pathing suppose to do? I tried using it but I can't access areas that used to be marked in black and I can't land in the usual places you aren't allowed to.

Has anyone else gotten the problem where Mabinogi doesn't start up after installing abyss...?
I am still not able to use abyss, and i'm not doing anything wrong during the installation (I don't think)..

I go through the installation and I checked:
Abyss
Reduced lag font 6
Default Mods

That's all.. I go through the installation without any errors, click Find on the data packer and Modify, open crackshield, then my Mabinogi doesn't have any signs of starting up after I click Game Start. I checked my processes in my task manager and Mabinogi wasn't running. Even Shaggy tried helping me on team viewer but he couldn't figure it out and i'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and has fixed it?

I even tried downloading Abyss in a new folder and I placed each file in the Mabinogi folder one at a time and started the game after each one.. (i'm no expert so this is my way of trying to figure it out ). The game started just fine until I put in the ijl15.dll & ijl15.dat files in...... they stopped Mabinogi from opening

Do any of the optional fonts include Japanese characters? I'd like to be able to still use them when talking to some of my Japanese speaking friends.

font1 ydygo550 might as it does include korean or you can use mod sharker with this patch http://mabimods.net/index.php?topic=15405.msg229417#msg229417 for chinese, japanese and korean with abyss's bitmap font.

that error is from failing to update properly, close crackshield and run C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\HShield\HSUpdate.exe you may also need to remove/repair the last few .packs you have in your package folder with something like Power Patcher 2.0 since hackshield isn't the only thing not updated judging from your login screen.

I downloaded the power patcher and ran it.. and I still get the same error.

goto advanced features and type in the version of the ###_full.pack you have in your \package\ folder in 'write custom version number' and click that button


the number at the bottom left will change and you can close Power Patcher then delete the rest of the .packs lastly restart Power Patcher or any launcher to begin patching.

Alright i did what you said. Here isa look at my package folder



Yet, when use the DATA packer and i start mabi.. the client gets to about 180k memory  then crashes.

Did I miss a step..?
