You don't click on the ores like all the other gathering props. You have to get close to it, and then USE the engineering drill skill. This happens on a clean client as well.

I guess devCAT either got too lazy or this is their method for "auto-gathering" since the skill automatically loads again until there are no more ores or until you fail.

I thought this was an issue with Tiara as well but then read your reply. My friend, who also uses Tiara, said that he doesn't have to use the skill. That his drill will just automatically drill on the spots when he clicks on them.

EDIT: Ok, with a clean client the drilling worked fine without having to "use" the skill. I'm going to check the mods to see what is wrong. I might have a file that's not updated properly even though I just updated Tiara the other day.

EDIT 2: The drill icon shows up just fine with a clean client or with a client that only uses Tiara w/datapacker. The drill does not show up when using Abyss alone or when using Abyss with Tiara. I'm not sure what is causing the issue though.

Alright, thoroughly checked all the settings in Abyss.ini and found out that this was causing the drill icon not to show up when a mining drill was equipped.

I had this setting turned on since I didn't mind it showing the Hatsune Miku login screen. Once I turned it off, the issue went away. So for anyone with the issue, see if you have this setting turned on, change the 1 to a 0 for the LoginScreen line, save the changes to the file, and see if it works for you.

try installing V163C and see if that fixes it for you.

it looks like your not taking good enough images, you need to edit them and crop them to the letters like i have done with the examples.

you only need 2 or 3 of anything, it can gather anything that has the prop name showing; which we can enable for anything you yourself could gather from so.

did you test any of the images with screen capture.exe after tasking them to see if they were found?

make sure its pointing to the right mabinogi path in the settings tab, then go to your mabinogi folder and run Update Autobot.exe

So umm I noticed there is a bug or something with trans mastery transformations. I bought a Cessair's Heart coin and used it and saw a naked body with no head. I've asked several people what they see and so far it seems it's only the ones who have mods that see the deformed body but non modders see the trans. Here's a pic of it.

For some reason the gunslinger talent, it's stat boosts, and ranking up in the talent aren't appearing at all for me. It's like they don't exist. (I have two blank boxes in the talent window)

Also, I tried reinstalling the data folder, but that didn't seem to do the trick...

i don't think uo tiara could cause this since i don't mod any talent files, check to see if you have LoginScreen disabled in Abyss.ini

I was having this issue before I upgraded to the version that included the loginscreen patch, (like, 2-3 revisions ago), but I updated to the latest after my computer froze and corrupted the entire client. I made sure that option was disabled in the update, but that's the only persisting issue.

Perhaps it's something in mod_sharker.dll? (goes to test it)

Update: It isn't mod_sharker.dll at all... so it's either abyss, or something in my data folder...

I remember that problem, it also disables wings also. The way to fix it is from the chairs I believe the sunbeds was the ones that caused that glitch because my friend had the same problem.

Sarcasm... Nice, So which option do i use to mine there, since the skill isn't "Mining" And how do i make it pick my stuff up? :/

what makes it different from mining? or any gathering in mabinogi, you equip something then you use a skill or click a prop but not always in that order and repeat, AutoBot can be setup to do that with the gathering, mining or fighting bot as long as their is a label on the prop and item on the ground then it can walk over to it and press a key or click on it, you just need to use the screen capture.exe to take good images and test them with the test button, as to which bot would be best to use i'm not sure, but they all would work and its not exactly the safest place to bot anyway.

so i worked on the original Tiara font aka BusAccident! and i just can't seem to do it right...

this is the way it looks now in windows.


but in game its offset by a lot more then in windows as many have you have noticed.
(i did actually type in 'shaggyze was here' as my account, but you can't see it.)



so what i did was changed the Y position of every 'glyph' up by about 300...
so now it looks like this in windows.



yeap, that's right nuffin., but in game...


which is better? and i only plan on using it for gaming anyway.

however i'm a horrible judge at these things and could use some feedback from those who loved the Tiara font, on what else needs changed like spacing between characters which are obvious too close to each other right now, but that's going to be harder to match up then the vertical i think.

well i'm going to sleep, any mods that need updated can wait until i wake up; especially since i didn't have enough time to finish the mods i wanted to add to this next release.

Just a heads up to anyone who has yet to try, the client has been patch to v164; the game is not up , but its already patching. (currently 1:50pm est)

updated to 164; just propdb.xml and some translations for treasure box event.

added:
step29's Talent Level Number Mod.
Mob Life Bar to Boss Life Bar.
Compressed the World Map to increase speed with Moon gates and Mana tunnels.
and adjusted all of the fonts to appear better in game, but may still tweak these further.

edit:
oh and i added a minimize button to the side skill bars. (won't work if skill bar is locked)

I downloaded it and crackshield isn't working it tells me to browse or cancel when i double click it is there a separate download for it?

you mean the shortcut to hslaunch.exe on the desktop?
check your c:\nexon\mabinogi\ for hslaunch.exe and see if it is there, if not i'm not sure why it failed to download for you.
