I had went and updated Tiara and unchecked the ones that removed the time based lighting and weather effects and stuff, and now I keep getting an error when trying to launch the game. I'm attaching the crash report stuff that gets copied to the clipboard whenever it does crash.

"whenever it does crash"? is it randomly crashing in different areas with people around or no one around? and sometimes not crash at all?
cause that doesn't give me any information to guess at the problem; have you tried with mods removed to see if it is the mods?
i would remove the data folder and make sure data packer.exe has all mods removed and test if you can log in before reinstalling.
if it still does it i can help you narrow it down in team viewer.

and those error reports tell me the same thing they tell you, nothing i can understand.

When i chose the tiara font it seems glitchy the letters arent on the bars when typing i reinstalld 3 times with that font and was same everytime and also for auto bot is there a option for training mining and dischord

the fonts have been off for awhile since nexon changed to layout version 2 and it will be awhile before i'm good enough at editing .ttf fonts to make them look perfectly original again.
and autobot has a 'mining' bot, its at the top where it says 'mining' and you can use the 'fight' bot to use any skills you want to train and up to 3 at a time.

thanks is there a specific setting i need for mining because when i used it it kept clicking and draging spining my screen

"whenever it does crash" just meant when Mabi does it's usually thing of crashing. Before I tried to update Tiara, it was working alright. After I updated once I clicked play on the launcher it would instantly show the crash window. I launch through Steam, which hadn't been causing problems with Tiara before. I think last time I had updated though was before G18. I'm having Steam verify the game cache, then I'll remove the mods and try again, since it looks like it was updated again.

EDIT: Alright, I went and updated Mabi, deleted the data folder and removed the mods with the data packer, launched Mabi to make sure I could actually launch it (which worked) and then went and reinstalled the mods. Got it working again.

Upon installation I get an error saying "Error opening file for writing: Nexon/Mabinogi/Mabinogi.exe" and I then get an option of Abort, Retry, and Ignore. I've selected retry many times but the error continues. Could someone help me out on this? Thank you in advance.

you need to take your own images with screen capture of the sulfur or cuilin rocks, silver, gold ect as props and ores and gems as items depending on where your mining.

It is closed, I wouldn't try installing mods with Mabinogi open in the first place.

the error is only happening because the installer is trying to copy mabinogi.exe (logue's mabilauncher) because nothing else in the installer tries to write to mabinogi.exe
check your taskmgr in case their is a mabinogi instance open your not seeing.

you said you ticked it off, its not ticked on by default, however if you check it or tick it; it will download and extract it then place a shortcut to your desktop pointing to the usual location C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\AutoBot\

when you install uo tiara do you see it download AutoBotS.rar

try to re download it... make sure u click on the option that says autobot...  you prob just didn't have it selected too download... and make sure your mabi game is under c/nexon/mabinogi. good luck with ur prob, hope it helps fix it...

I pretty much erased everything out of it... make sure your view is high enough for it too mine is like 10000...  then click a pick of your site..  ex: silver.

take multiple pics of it from diff silver spots like in the water and some that is on the beach (or mining sites in your case).... that way it is use too ur colors and resoulution on your screen and not shaggyze....  also u need map markers I think... don't forget ur new waypoints u should redo...  I usually take about 5 pics of each thing... good luck hope it helps a lil...

you don't want to set the view too high else it will take to long to walk to that site and by the time its finished and looking for items its already time for it to walk to another spot that could be too far for it to see the items left from the previous cycle it may have missed.

yea, i keep forgetting that antivirus programs detect it as a generic trojan so i need to put that into my first post.
and i knew you were putting it into the right directory because the installer looks for client.exe when installing and autobot has settings to use alternative mabinogi paths as well.

Edit:
actually i'll add an error handler to verify that autobot.exe got extracted and display an error if it got quarantined instead.

i also found a bug in the shortcut creation so i fixed that for the next release as well.

it has always worked for windows 8 because its just a data folder and datapacker.exe has always worked for windows  8

and windows 7 works better for powerful computers because windows 8 still has compatibility problems like windows 7 did and still does due to programmers not updating their code.
you would just need to know how to downgrade your os and get the drivers for it.

much like Abyss that wasn't working for windows 8, but now is.
