yea it does, but technically they are the old maps routed through minimapinfo.english.txt until the new maps are modded, but they all work for me so.

Still having trouble getting past login with Tiara, I used a clean client too. Does Autobot work without Tiara installed?

have you tried it with or without abyss?
and yes autobot works without uo tiara, but it does include some of the dame mods as uo tiara to show names of props and such so they can be gathered from.

OK so I got the updated Abyss while I went about installing the newest Tiara. My problem has now changed.

So previously I had problems with the maps right? Well I'd been using an old Tiara for some time, so the portrait at login screen wouldn't usually show itself. After I updated Abyss and Tiara, since Abyss now had a proper data folder packing, I tried that out and up until the login screen everything worked, including the data folder packing as the Tiara portrait was there. However, for some reason my client will ALWAYS stop responding after I enter my username/password if I have the updated Abyss running. So I removed the new Abyss and put the old one back in, used Data Packer to pack and started up Mabinogi. HOWEVER, this time there was NO PORTRAIT, and the maps still don't work. This leads me to believe that Data Packer is not recognising some changes, since things like cutscene, commerce imp removal, Tail/Tara tree/building swaps and sound changes are all working. The only things I've noticed missing are the login screen portrait and map swaps. Would there happen to be a different tool for packing than Data Packer?

hmm, that's strange; data packer alone for me shows the portrait and the maps fine but i suppose the timing will be slightly different for all pc's or still...something is slightly messed up with your packs.

there are four things you can try:
first would be the old abyss with its xml/data folder patch turned on with loaddll = mod_sharker and plonecakes poorgraphics patch to force the correct timing for data folder reading.
the second thing you could try is logue's mabipacker and mabilauncher that are disabled by default in uo tiara's installer to create uotiara.pack and language.pack
third you can use the proffessor frontend and put any uo tiara mods into its custom mod box in the last tab i believe so it will create a combined _frontend.pack of both mod compilations.
and last or first...i would disable the mods of the new abyss except for data folder reading and try some of the things mentioned in its thread to see if you can get some or all of it working.

Completely random and stupid, but try the following if ijl isn't working right.

Open Abyss.ini and find the line:

Yes, it's redundant and sounds stupid.  However, for some weird reason, previous versions of abyss required me to add one of the required .DLLs to the .ini.  It wouldn't work otherwise, and i have no idea what caused it.  Worth attempting to see if it gets abyss to work though.

Now i'm trying to look into the abyss.ini so I can make the game just run from normal day time to night time. How do I fix this?
I want mabi to be able to go from day to night :c

That's normal on Abyss, did you also set it off in Tiara also? Tiara has that feature to have all midday if you didn't uncheck that option when installing it. If it is installed check the first post to how to remove it.

Hey, I've been having some rather odd issues, every since I updated to V159.

For some reason, two of my quests are completely blacked out, one has no icon, neither have text, and I can't even click one of them.

Also, my maid won't let me us either mount, saying that she can't be mounted while she is using a gesture. (resummoning did no work)

The AP gain box from using a potion is completely blank as well.

I'm not entirely sure what to remove from the data folder to fix this issue... or what could be causing it in the first place.

Edit: Reverting to a backup pre-update, couldn't figure out the issue.

Thanks, I tried using mod_sharker but it doesn't work, however packing UOTiara into a pack seems to have worked!

You could try setting:

Tried that, didn't work.
I even turned off everything and it still stopped responding at login, so I just got rid of it. If it worked, I had intended to just use CP and AltColourNames on the new Abyss, and load the old dsound.dll for the rest x3

So I re-installed Tiara and now I keep getting a hackshield error every time I press "Log in". What am I doing wrong?

The server went down this morning for an update (crackshield removal and event change).  Let the client update, then make sure you've run hslaunch.exe.

been having this problem for the past 3? updates

when i go to to install uot on a fresh mabi install everything works fine until the end where i get an error

"error opening file for writing C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\Mabinogi.exe"
then it says abort retry and ignore abort cancels everything, retry brings the error up again, ignore continues on but doesn't give me a mabinogi.exe file in my folder.

I clicked to run the uotiara thing as admin and i still get the error, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated

Try removing risky mods when you install tiara. I had this problem before as well, but got fixed after I took it off.

CP reader is in Abyss, not Tiara.
