i still cant get demonic materials to show up on the list when using production tools. I deleted tiara and reinstalled it and still the same thing. any ideas?

Did you also checked to unpack the mods? Also some items don't tend to show up on the list because of rank.

im r1 weaving and r1 refine and neither of those respective demonic materials shows up when using the corresponding production tool. how do you unpack or whatever it is you mean?

You need to read the guides.

Try running mabi without mods and see if you can find the desired item(s).  If so, that means you're using an outdated file.  If you look at the package files, mabinogi is currently version 145.  Tiara is v144.

What I was saying was just uninstalling tiara doesn't remove the mods but the DATA Packer(The one with Nao's pic) that removes and adds the tiara mods.
But yeah follow what Fl0rn saying. The file could be outdated.

Hm. I've never had any problems with this before but now when I try to run it I get through the installation past choosing settings to the part where it's actually. You know. Installing. Then I keep getting spammed with messages that Mabipacker needs to close. Did I check something wrong? Forget to uncheck something?

It could be that you have the Mabiunpacker still open that cause the error of the package to popup. Usually closing the Mabiunpacker and then use DATA packer will work fine afterwards. If the error still occurs, restart pc.

kk so Ive been gone from the modding community for a good while since the mabinogiacalypse, from what ive read in these here forums Tiara is working, but just to double check, (because thats how I roll) Is it working, and do I just have to run tiara for it to work, (In other words do I need anything other than tiara to get this to work)

DATA packer to read the mods that's all. Unless the file is outdated then you would need to fix those or wait till the update.

Crackshield=Abyss files.
The crackshield has probably nothing to do with the unresponding.
You have to test either if it's Abyss itself or Tiara itself or even the client game that's causing the error.
If Tiara is outdated it can have some problems where certain files can error the game. Try DATA packer to remove all mods then add it back to see if the game still reacts like that.

Forgive my idiocy, it's been a very long time since using tiara (lol 2009), but is Abyss necessary for CP view? Which is essentially what I'm wanting out of Tiara atm aside from lag reduction. If it's not then I'll focus on just the Tiara hackshield error (see below).

I did re-install on a clean Mabinogi without Abyss and simply got a hackshield error instead. I tried the fix mentioned on the tutorial page for hackshield errors but couldn't find the ESL.clean to rename so that fell out. If there is another method to fixing this that'd be good. I'll rummage through this post for an answer but if the answer to my above question is yes then I'm back to square one on that.

Crackshield is necessary for the Abyss patcher. And apparently only Abyss has the cp reader as of this date.
There are some players that experience some errors even with a clean client. If it's not the mods you could try finding some normal non-mod answers around in the Mabi forums, if you know for sure it's the mods keep digging through.

One question: Whenever I modify with data packer, the mods never get working; I keep retrying and same thing and it's been happening for a while. Is it just the data folder (I have mine updated to 145)?

Have you try removing them and repack after? Also check to see if the mods are place in the right directory files. If the problems still occurring, try finding some answers, otherwise I got no clue.

Rather curious. Using tiara, Possessed potion and several other potions do not appear in the potion making menu. Clean client shows it but with tiara (No abyss) it's gone.

Outdated file. It's probably production.xml in the db folder. But I'm not sure mine is showing fine. Try removing it since I'm not in Mabi right now to test it.
