This is copy and paste : client.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. That was after the last one. Then it says "If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost." And doesn't have a code for the error or anything... >.<

Also is double posting like when I put two posts after the other? If it is, sorry bout that, didn't realize :S

Also, when does said error occur?

And yes, that is double posting, use the edit button, or if you need your new edit to be seen, click remove, then copypasta the entire thing, add the new piece, post it again, it'll bump the thread.

Okay, so after I click the Celtic Knot symbol for mabinogi on my quickstart bar right beside the start bar, and I click "Start Game" For mabinogi, as the white background screen finishes loading just before the log in screen comes up, so this is before the plieone (or however spelt) engine starts to load, this error happens. The odd thing is, the engine will still load, i CAN log in, but when I do the character selection has all my characters naked and headless, then when logging in the little tip that comes with the in game loading screen has no words, then it stops about 2/3rds of the way loaded. This is granted that i don't click "close" on the error window.

I'm really thinking this is a thread delay issue.

You're sure it didn't say anything else in the error?
Like error during authorization or memory modification error?

Okay so, that doesn't appear to be any thread delay problem at all.

Go to your data folder, drag the entire db folder onto your desktop, then run mabi.
See if that makes a difference.

Nono, we're not done yet. lol...

Removing the whole folder just helps me narrow it down.
I fully plan on picking off the EXACT problem.

Doing so will not only help you, but allow shaggy (the one in charge of releasing and updating this) to know something screwed up, so he knows exactly what to do to fix it.

Put the db folder back, open it up, find race.xml, drag that one to the desktop.
If it still doesn't work, drag out itemdb.xml

Okay so I got the error when I just took out race.xml, then I took out itemdb.xml (mind u the text in folder was blue, and said 0mb) and it didnt give me the error apon loading, mind you, to be very exact so we can fix this, I kept race.xml on desktop as well as itemdb.xml

No error without race AND item?

It should be safe to put race back in then.
Itemdb has been a female dog ever since the start of itemdb...
It requires an update as soon as any item gets added to changed or anything.

Even without super great computer knowledge, that still makes sense to me, so I might as well erase itemdb then? I can live without knowing true durability for the time being

Actually, that's a patcher function.
Itemdb doesn't show you that.

Deleting it all together is fine, in fact I recommend most user not to use it.

Ooh okay.. lol I thought db stood for durability lol. Anyways on a side note, I noticed that some cosmetic mods I put in last week, where only like 2 of them worked, they're all working since I got tiara

if it is itemdb.xml then it won't be a problem in current or future releases since i no longer have uo tiara using it but itemdb.english.txt instead.

Hehe, well I'm a bit of a moron , this is more of an in-game issue...I used the right click self function, and for some reason i wanted to see what would happen if i blacklisted myself...now i cant see myself and the camera's stuck LOL! I can't get to my name in blacklist...what do I do now? XD Gosh I'm not too smart..

I love how I did that several times throughout a year and a half since I kept forgetting what happens when you self-blacklist.

i don't dc when i see them so i have to assume its something else.
any other mods you've used?
maybe delete data folder and reinstall to verify its uo tiara causing the problem?

Race.xml
and Itemdb.xml

Remove these, try again.
If it still happens tiara isn't your problem, you've got something else that's acting up.
If it doesn't happen, well there ya go, it's fixed.

Race.xml is updated and shouldn't cause any problem and i'm also going to see about removing it since its not that useful in the way tiara uses it maybe race.english.txt instead however skillinfo.xml will be the bottle neck still since their are many useful edits in it.

Wow wow, UT now has a patcher with it? :O
And it has CP and Quality View, oh I've missed these.

It's nice to have CP/Quality view again since I was using JAP before this. (at least, i don't think JAP had those)
Though, I miss the mod where control doesn't switch back to your character when your golem goes too far.
ZEP doesn't have that one atm, does it?
I didn't see it when looking through the .ini.

If I wanted that mod back along with all the stuff ZEP has, could I merge JAP and ZEP using the instructions in Playtime's thread for merging MNG/JAP?

Also, is ZEP going to get that mod included someday?
