Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Hey, I'm not very familiar with modding. Recently I purchased a new windows 8 computer. I've seen some fantastic mods but I need data folder to use them and I know tiara has it. Is there a way I can install data folder without disrupting the graphics of the game?

I like to render this game as it's max without lowering the graphics with mods.

Hi Shaggy, tonight myself and a couple other can't get the download page to work. Adfly page just keeps stating 'please wait..'. and shows 'Please enable Cookies in your browser.' but we do have cookies enabled so I'm unsure what's going on.

Can you separate Mana Shield and Deadly color change?
I like the deadly one, but I don't like seeing myself as blue throughout every dungeon.
Thank you ^ ^

Separating them would require him to make two different files with slight differences and add them both to the installer.

that is the simpliest way but i could have the installer edit/compare the existing file directly too and if the file doesn't exist; extract it, make edits depending on which mods are enabled like
  • Enable Dark Knight Sound
  • Pet Summon Effect Remove Sounds
  • Pet Summon Effect Remove Quakes
for animationevent.anievent
  • View Mana Shield
  • View Deadly Status
  • Remove FoodSelfPraise
for charactercondition.xml, and etc...

instead of increasing the setup.exe size; which has been on my to do as well as it checking which mods you prefer to have enabled/disabled by default, but it will have to wait until i get the time and motivation.

Edit:

Hi Shaggy, tonight I just checked to see if the adfly site would work and it does seem to be working properly now. Not sure what was happening with it last night but at the time myself and 2 other people kept getting the exact same issue. Sorry for the trouble!

EDIT:

Im having trouble with Solea and Ant Hell fog too, any possible fix?

I just noticed this issue tonight. My friend and I had to go in there to get ant lions for our journal and I noticed the fog was covering the maps.

Try deleting your data folder and reinstalling, it sounds like you have out of date .xml's.

Greasemonkey is a system that allows you to run scripts, not a bypass in itself.

EDIT: My point was more that the bypass is something like this rather than Greasemonkey itself.
My releases

Hi, I just wanted to add a change I noticed from the recent update for Tiara!
I noticed keys are tiny again, and I get the bouncing action when items are dropped i.e. money out of chests in dungeons.

Does anyone else have this too?

Yess i know but i got a script i found that take you starit to download, also it skips the waiting time.
that may work on some of ad.fly links but it won't work with my site since it checks if your cheating (not with download time but) by going straight to download page.

so i'll say it again if anyone is having trouble with "cookies are not enabled" disable any addons you may have that are interfering.

keys are working fine for me so you may need to remove mods and try installing tiara again.

because at the end of every uo tiara install your using data packer.exe to add the mods to your .pack files in the \package\ folder so when reinstalling the first thing that needs done is removing those mods so none exist and your new \data\ folder can be applied.

also if you have any more trouble please post in the uo tiara thread or PM me directly for assistance.

oh i'm starting to get it now then, i assumed the data packer moved all the mods into the data folder, so that makes sense
i'll retry the process in a bit

EDIT: also does keeping the dataBackup folder interrupt this process in anyway?

no, it just saves the mods you had previously before choosing to delete the data folder at the beginning of the installer.

good, your suppose to remove the data folder and remove the mods with data packer.exe before reinstalling but since you did that i'm not sure what is causing you to crash in dunbarton so you can try remove one folder at a time like (data\db\) and apply mods again with data packer so you can narrow it down.
