Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I can't either, I assume it's just a maintenance.. ..-.

It's not maintence. Try updating using the normal launcher.

can you explaine why it didn't work like what error you got? restrat your pc and then delete the folder then it should no longer be in use by windows...but there are easier ways to find the problem then to reinstall mabi, but it sounds like you are using an old version of abyss/crackshield.

in cases like that you usually have to delete language.pack or run mabinogi.exe with administrator.

There is a post a few pages back that state which files to delete. Sorry can't remember which page though, maybe 10 or so pages back?

read the mods on the second page of the installer under '+ data' and uncheck the mods you don't want installed.

if you don't have anything productive or positive to say that helps me then you might as well not even post.

In defense of these people... this thread is over 100 pages long. It's easy to say "that was just answered a couple of pages ago" when you keep up to date with every reply... but for someone just checking out the thread for the first time? How are they supposed to know it was just answered on a page or two ago from a thread of over 100 pages?

Look, I do tech support for a living, and I know for a fact that most people don't read or don't know how to use a search engine (like when they already know the domain for a site, and then they search for that domain off of Google...), otherwise I probably wouldn't have a job, heh. But, to be honest, it isn't like questions like these are well-documented for UT. Yes, pretty much every question has been asked again and again throughout the life of this thread... but again, it's over 100 pages long.

If it's okay for me to suggest something, Shaggy... but perhaps an FAQ should be included on the first post? Perhaps even before the download link. Maybe a separate UT support thread?

The comment was because the same question was asked and answered literally the post above it.

And yes an FAQ or a readme detailing which files regard which mods would be helpful.

I thought of adding that to my post as well, asking if Shaggy might be able to make a small FAQ on the front page for the questions that are answered over and over again. Normally I would have found the answer to help someone but I was lazy and just remember it was answered a few times on several pages back. :X Next time I'll try to be a bit more helpful though.

i have no problem with people asking the same question in my thread and even with a FAQ there are going to be repeated questions because of the things already mentioned in the first post that gets overlooked.

Ok so I installed tiara and when I click on datapacker in the folder it says "copy to install dir then run". I've even tried using the data packer download from the site, but it still says the same thing.

You downloaded it, but did you place it in your Mabinogi directory? (That has a package folder with .pack files in it?)

Hey i know this question been answered a few times but I'm still confuse. Its about making things night again or anything other subject like rain, making ur homestead houses appear and etc. I'm not sure how to change those through data packer. When i click on it, then click FIND buton it pull up all the data tht has been modded. the problem is I cant individually unmod them. when I click restore, it restored every single one of them. Anyone can help me walk through this? if the walkthrough was already posted please tell me what page. I been lookin through several pages but does not see the step. thank you,

Re-install UOTiara, but un-select those mods you don't want.

use Tiara's Uninstaller.exe or delete your \data\ folder then remove mods with data packer.exe

What options do I have to de-select to remove the "always day" modification to the game? I've tried unchecking all the "Always Noon Sky #" options I could possibly find when installing the game. The sky seems to go through day/night cycles now, but that actual lighting everywhere does not. It actually looks REALLY cool. But alas, I really want night time back, so any help would be much appreciated.

I've read back through several pages of this thread but don't see this question asked.
Mabi now is at version 132. Does UT R131 work still with ver 132?

the answer to this questions is always shown in the top left of MM in the news box "R131/R132 Modding Report can be found here."

There seems to be something in Tiara that causes the client to crash when continent warping. There is a BugTrap library error. I only got this behavior when I had r131 packed. I tried removing Abyss and only using Tiara, but it seemed only unpacking it stopped the issue. I'm unsure of the cause, and I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it seems as if something in the Tiara package may be the cause. Just wanted to update the thread in-case anyone comes looking.
