Np Shaggy, I had a feeling it was gone for good when I couldn't find it in the recycle bin lol. I normally keep a backup for it but cleaned up alot of files on my pc recently. Thankfully I DO keep each individual mod in another folder and thankfully I just organized all that stuff during the same time I was cleaning up files. I'll just re-add everything to a fresh Tiara install.

BUt if you can awnser, then please do XD. kay, to the question: I noticed Mabinogi had an update, so i tried to download the latest Language patch for tiara but it keeps saying "Download Error" So i uninstalled Tiara and redownloaded it like, an hour ago to see if it would help but it didnt change anything. So i was wondering if i should wait untill its updated more or if im doing something wrong? If you can help, please do. (Btw, im kinda new so please don't go raging on me if i did something stupid unintentionally XD) Thanks mate.

since i'm not sure exactly what your problem is you can start from a clean slate by:
1. delete your language.pack in c:\nexon\mabinogi\package\
2. use _mabinogi.exe to re-download language.pack automatically if it's the nexon launcher; if not use this link to download it for R129 and overwrite c:\nexon\mabinogi\mabinogi.exe then close.
3. run data packer.exe, remove mods and close.
4. install uo tiara and delete your c:\nexon\mabinogi\data\ when it asks (or copy it if you wish to save old mods).
5. after choosing your mods it should open data packer.exe
6. click find then click modify and let me know if that fixes your problem.

thanks for the help, but as you can see i already mentioned recovery programs as an option and ubergurl already had a backup so the problem was already resolved.

Though, is there no way you could change the installer a little bit?
Specifically, to allow us to install the mods to a folder of choice, rather than to the default C:\Nexon\Mabinogi one?

this is an error on your part most likely with language.pack so try.

start from a clean slate by:

currently uo tiara is not updated so that could be the problem as you should be on R131 and UO Tiara is R129

whoops... I thought it said something about deleting Data Packer, but I might've been reading wrong.

i know it won't let you log in due to the hackshield error your having, you need to run data packer.exe again its in your mabinogi folder and remove the outdated mods of uo tiara and maybe other things that could be causing the hackshield error like updating abyss or hackshield and re-newing language.pack for instance but that's the first place i would start.

if you did/do that and it doesn't help i might have time to help you later tonight when i get back home.

-Update- Now I can't delete Mabinogi's folder to reinstall it.. I've tried going to Task Manager, but it couldn't find it, and then I tried manually deleting it, and that didn't work either.

 I know shaggy's saying it's out of date, and I'm getting BR'd by my own comp because it won't let me delete some files on it .-.;; It tells me that it detects another mabi installed, and it asks me if I want to reinstall it. Well, I click okay, and something pops up for a good 3 seconds, and just goes away, like a fat chinese hoo ker.

You don't really need to delete anything, just run DataPacker.exe and click Remove. If you deleted DataPacker.exe, re-install UOTiara only ticking DataPacker, then use that.
