okay try a restart then and if that doesn't help then you'll have to do a full reinstall since this error has nothing to do with mods.

I think there is still one more thing that can be done.

If it doesn't work, remove data folder also.

If it STILL doesn't work, Shaggy's basically right, something about your game is mucked up, reinstall will be required.

Thanks so much for updating this.  I am having a slight problem with the mods though.  For some reason after I installed them, all my interfaces in game are extremely dark almost to the point of not being able to read them.  I tried changing the interface and adjusting the brightness all the way to 100 percent but this didn't really help.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

Delete interface.dds.
(Shaggy, did you include this? O-o)

Take every version of dbghelp you have.
Remove all of them (Do NOT delete, just put it someplace else)

Run mabi.
What happens?

yea, most likely just data\gfx\gui\interface.dds that needs removed.

also make sure to try mabi as a clean install to ensure its been fixed and isn't some other third party issue and then install only uo tiara and check if it still works before adding any other things that may have caused this so that we may be able to track down the cause.

Oh, and as precaution to this happening again.
Install mabi.
Log in, make sure it's working as it should.

Create a back-up now (Not sure how? I made a section in my guide for it)
Mod the original as you see fit.

When something screws up, delete the original.
Place the back-up in it's place.

Make new back-up.
Repeat.

Never have to reinstall again! !

As far I as care, there is ALWAYS a method to repair the game once breaking it.
I don't care what the hell you did, it's fixable.

Same, I always prefer to try and fix things when I break them now vs simply reinstalling. When I was younger I just reinstalled when something broke..xD

But I am helping someone, sometimes its just easier for them to reinstall. :< Sadfaces indeed.

No, you no longer require to use datapacker. Once you download and install Unofficial tiara it will automatically have several mods on. It uses MNG's patching system. Go C:\Nexon\Mabinogi, find zep.ini, and open from there you can customize the mods you want on and off. Set to 1 for on and set to 0 for off, then be sure to save it. Just be sure to use leave usedatafolder= 1. That is what will allow it to use the data folder.

Note: 6 Mods of this are not included in Tiara, but I think they deserved to be put in anyways:
1. You can zoom in Uladh Minimaps
2. You can now see who wants to duel you
3. Exploration Level is shortened, so you can see your level above level 10 in Character Window.
4. Taillteann SM maps are redone, I spent some time using Paint.net to make a more accurate trail.
5.NEW:ACE1337X's Falias Delagger mods, which reduce lag in Falias.
6.NEWBerquack's Rain/Thunder Sound Deletions.

yea most people can't read those and ask them a million times throughout the forums so i highlighted them.

its not shameless to advertise my other projects if it makes it so no one ever crashes from data edits again.

and yea i only made a few small edits to use different extensions and .ini name change but as time goes it will be less of a clone but just so everyone knows the ZE in my name stood for ZeroEffect and i named the patcher ZeroEffort because it took just that much effort to clone; my way of being ironical.

I filled out this long-standing account just to give my sincerest thanks to you. It's great to finally have a truly working Tiara again, and one that will even auto-update.

since it was not in tiara or uo tiara i will still keep its files intact and release it each update but for those that wish to update you would just need to run update autobot.exe or autobot.exe itself and the autobot.rar it downloads will extract the latest xml's but in the future i plan on having autobot simply edit the changes that need made from your .pack's so it won't need to download at all.

i will post more instructions and details about this as we come to that.

But yeah, it sounds great, an auto editing 'updater'.
Looking forward to this, since it'll probably be the only thing I download from here in a while.
(Unless of course Kota's patcher comes out public )
