If I may ask, do you guys know what in the mod pack that removes the Music Cancelling for commerce, as well as which of the "Show crops, metallurgy, etc" check boxes (There's 3 of them) put's a label on tree's in Dunbarton (EX : Tree 1 shows on any random tree, and Tree 2 shows on all the tree's surrounding the map).

I don't look much at the screen when commercing, and just rely on the music turning off to stop my character and look at the screen. The giant bandits showing from far away is SO nice, but with the heart beat going along with the music, I don't feel like I should look away, fearing I'll get caught. If possible I'd prefer just having giant bandits along with the music turning off when you get within heart beat distance (the bigger radius for the heart beat is pretty helpful I must say).

As for the tree's...It just feel's silly seeing a tree called a tree...I can understand the labels on crops so you can alt click on the name, and the metallurgy labels to catch those invisible patches, but the tree's...I kinda giggled at seeing. Out of the 3 check boxes during installation, is there one that labels the trees in different maps by chance? Or really just which one labels the tree's, and what else does it label.

Thank you for the mod pack, been using it since Tiara stopped updating theirs, and been loving it since then as well :D.

the tree's are db\propdb.xml and you can change the 'showname=true' for the xml number in xml\propdb.english.txt and in local\xml\propdb.english.txt...
you could delete these files completely but would lose the metallurgy and farm labels and i include them because they are needed for botting with metallurgy, potatoes or firewood.

music canceling is in data\sound, simply delete the file like handcart_move.wav and another 7 or 8 commerce sounds but once removed data pack again

Try uninstalling Tiara and seeing if the game will launch then.
Might help with the patcher problem, but after than that I'll be done. If some people want to stay in touch with me if there is ever help needed, PM me and I'll give contact info.

I believe I had a problem with my interface.english.txt so try re-downloading uo tiara r113.

First off, seeing bandits far away, and seeing the bandits as giant bandits are two different mods.  In order to fix it so the music only stops when you're in heartbeat distance, you'll have to delete data/db/commercecommon.xml.  By doing so, you will no long be able to see bandits at any distance, but the music will also continue playing until you are near them like before.

How do you change the bandits back to original size? I have the mod that replaces their tree hats with a large circle so everytime I see a bandit, they're huge and the circle stretches across my entire screen o-o

Hi Shaggy. Was the smaller inventory tabs feature removed from Tiara? I just update it today to r113 but notice the tabs are normal and not smaller like they were before.

i'm not sure how i missed that but i fixed it, remove mods and download uo tiara r113 again, and thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I just deleted npcclientappearance.xml and that seemed to fix the size issue. What would deleting commercecommon.xml do?
i haven't compared florn's bandit spotter files with nexon's yet since this is the first time i have put it in uo tiara so i'm not sure which 2 files change what yet

Update UOTiara1.exe is the latest updater and is used with PowerPatcher to keep uo tiara's updater updated so you can delete the other one but it will just re-download and i still need to fix its interface.english.txt so if your using that method thats why it didn't work yet

and i actually uploaded the latest R113 after i sent that message so there is a chance you downloaded the one that was still missing shorter inventory tabs,and the files are in data/code/interface.english.txt and /data/local/code/interface.english.txt; chances are one of them is correct and the other one is missing the edits.

the font should be located in data\gfx\font\alphanumeric.ttf; not sure why its not working for you

Ok, I tried downloading again just now after your second reply and it still didn't work. I also deleted Update UOTiara.exe, tried to update Tiara with Update UOTiara1.exe, but it created Update UOTiara.exe again lol. I'm not sure what's going on with my end of things but I think I'll delete my data folder and then just redownload Tiara to see if that will work. I'll update my post afterwards. Nah it wasn't you Shaggy.

Something messed up in my data folder and wouldn't allow the file to update properly I think. I deleted everything, then redownload Tiara again, merged my older custom data folder to the new one, and looks like the tabs are working fine again! :) Idk what happen but just glad it's all back to normal. I'm still getting the extra updater but it's not a problem. Just wanted to make sure I was using the correct one for updating. Thanks again Shaggy and again sorry for all the trouble!

npcclientappearance.xml is the one that controls the bandit sizes.  Deleting it will just make them smaller.

commercecommon.xml controls the heartbeat sensor, and vision range.  Deleting it will reset you being able to spot bandits at any distance, back to default.  As a side effect of this mod, normal commerce music will not play if there are any bandits anywhere in the region you are currently in.
